That red looks sexy as hell. I wonder what the meltdowns would be like if Nintendo doesnt release a white with colored buttons N3DS in NA.

It was either blue or black. If it's black then that matches this launch.

Nintendo has done crazier things. We also have the 2DS which seems to have a big impact in the US. *shrug* I really hope not.

It's Nintendo, you never know what kind of dumb thing they're going to do. I personally think faceplates are easy money and Nintendo isn't dumb enough to pass that up, though.

Have to decide whether to sell my original red 3DS and Zelda XL in order to finance one of these.

Whether we get a sleek N3DS non XL version will be a deciding factor.

Whether I can use it with my Gateway will be the other, because I'm not going back to lugging all my carts, and I'm not buying digital on a Nintendo platform.

Here's hoping sooner than later!

Edit: Wait but I said earlier that I will buy the regular 3DS because more compact and face-plates... damn. Looking forward for tomorrow to see the color and face-plate designs to finally take a decisioneee :)

The old 3DS isn't popular enough in NA to warrant Nintendo selling a bunch of accessories for it; why would the new one be? It's not like n3DS is going to be Nintendo's iPhone 6 or anything.

Seems like they could still make that happen, though I don't foresee a DS Lite type situation where everyone had one.

But don't they often not include charging cables in Japan and a few other regions? And hasn't America always had charging cables included?

Because of the accessories. You can already see in the XL vs Regular thread the appeal faceplates have for a lot of people. They're the deciding factor for many people.

I'm pretty sure the 3DS XL was the first time in Europe they didn't include any way to charge the device.

I really hope this thing egnights new fire under the platform... it already feels dead to me. I haven't had any interest in a game for it since Shovel Knight, and I see nothing on the Horizon. Other than Xenoblade which requires this model... and that's really it so far.

Seriously, what are the must-haves for the coming year?

To be fair the original 3DS isn't popular because it's a vastly inferior model and poorly designed. The new one should do quite a bit better.

No outrage here. Why? Because its whole colors per system unlike previous 3DS XL that had white or black inside then a different color outside for a majority of the time. Red looks good too.

Really shocked MM is just gonna drop next month. So soon for a retail release damn.

I dont think that red wine XL is the same as the poster in the OP. The poster N3DSXL looks more crimson red than the pale-ish wine color.

Because fuck not giving options to all regions.

I have to admit that red XL looks pretty hot. I really did love the blue color too. Oh well, I'm going for the n3DS and upgrading from my pink XL anyway lol
I can't believe this might actually release the day before my birthday. Birthday gift for me!!!!!!!
I'm so excited for tomorrow.

The faster OS is a huge plus for me.

The white one is so sex, I'm holding off until I can get one.

I hate the new colours (if leak is real). Black and red? Doesn't feel new/refreshing at all.
