Thanks. I'm not holding my breath, but I'll hope for the best. If they come damaged, I'll complain. I might even just return them... BestBuy might not care about people calling in to complain, but they'll sure care when a bunch of damaged inventory comes back to them and they're out of pocket on the shipping costs.
mine were perfectly fine so not necessarily
from my experience, Ike seems to be really rare, because he's the only one I've gotten notice about being limited to 1 per cust.

MM and Sonic depends on region. Ike and DDD seem to be the rarest
Each one. But I would say King D3, Ike, MM, and Sonic in that order. I don't think any of them will be plentiful. They seem to be, at the very least, Captain Falcon tier.
They're the Mega Man Amiibos, though. My Meta Knight shipped separately, so I'm hoping it'll be fine, but you never know.
That's encouraging. Fingers crossed.

Just got back from Best Buy. The preorder panned out. Phew!
The store said they only got two extras over preorders, and it looked like there were three. So only five metas in total, which seems really low.
Was also going to pick up the new kirby game but they didn't have it. Sigh.

I bought a cheap touch LED light for my Amiibo collection, pretty happy with the results:
I don't know why I haven't opened Rosalina yet, I wouldn't dare sell her or even trade her... Well maybe I would for a Little Mac.
Edit: the pictures lessen the light effect but it's a big improvement in person.

I think Meta Knight will be the rarest by far.
Totally fine with this. Now I don't have to worry about trying to figure out where somebody is located when I refer to them. Oh Amazon has it! Oh you don't live in the US? Nevermind...
That and seeing all the in stock notices from Europe and pictures from well-stocked Germany, the land of plentiful amiibos, was grating.

The 4 retailer exclusives are rare, Shulk, Rosalina, Lucario, and Meta Knight. They will remain rare even with restocks, but some aren't likely getting restocks. Ike and King Dedede are probably as rare as some of the exclusives that will get restocked, just will be in more stores so a step down. Last time Dedede was up on target he lasted a lot longer then Ike, but don't know if that means anything. Mega-Man and Sonic are the next tier. They come in a bunch but scalpers are still buying them all to try to control the price. Sheik is an oddity in that she may be seen on the selves somewhere but nowhere else. Toon Link and Bowser seem to be common with Toon Link being the harder to find between the two. Scalpers in my area were trying to control Toon Link as well but ended up just returning their stock to the stores since it kept getting restocked too fast.
Same friend that went and got Lucario for me also went and got Metaknight for me. 4 out of 4 exclusives!
Only sad thing today was that I wasn't able to get that solo Dedede that my GS got so now I either have to go pull my hair out trying to find him somewhere else or wait until I get word.

I think all of the retailer exclusives will be super rare.
Those days are long gone... I haven't been able to secure a Meta Knight, and I'm pretty sure my preorders will be canned.

Sad times. Nothing at all. But I ordered all Of wave 3 online. I didn't this time because there's no fun in Amiibo hunting. I ordered Megaman an Sonic from Nintendo store UK. Stupid I know but I wanted to have Amiibo hunting again.
Oh well.

Woo hoo! I got a Meta Knight amiibo this morning! Turns out the Best Buy near me had 4, not 2. And I was 4th in line!
I drove around to GameStop, Toys R Us, and Target and wasn't able to find anything else though. Really surprised. I still need Ike, King Dedede, Sonic, and Mega Man and none of those places had any of them.

Nice. Just bought one from Amazon for $20 and I can't cancel otherwise I would be all over this.
Could have bought another but that's ok, there are people that badly need him out there.
