Tearaway Unfolded (PS4) shipping this summer

Loved on vita, will double dip.

My only wishes for tearaway 2 is a deeper fighting mechanic and more varied baddies
Also the techniques you learned just kind crop up for a few levels then leave, id like for everything to build upon echother

Didn't like on Vita, will be skipping this. The novelties couldn't carry it through the terrible platforming and combat.

Using the word combat for Tearaway is hilarious to me. Truly the face of fisticuffs and firearms:

All over this when it releases.

I'm still let down that this is the first major MM release on PS4.

Where is the original game guys?

So after The Order 1886 close to Bloodborne, we could have Tearaway Unfolded close to Until Dawn.

Both pairs are complete opposite in terms of gameplay, design and philosophy. Really love that diversity.

I know what I'll be getting this summer then. Looking forward to playing this expansion of an already enjoyably charming experience on the vita.

Ah, I just started Tearaway last night. Going to play some more tonight and then maybe put up a LttP. It's not a great game to play if you're ugly :(

Awesome. Ever since I saw this announced for the Vita I've been intrigued. Never got a Vita, so this kinda port is perfect.

Kenneth Young left MM? Aw, he was awesome.

Loved on vita, will double dip.

Its not double dipping if its pretty much a new game. Pretty sure its 60% new content and the other 40 is still different than Vita.

no. it might have some new bells and whistles here and there but itll be the same game. if you didn't play the vita one tho, yea folks, pick it up.

Its not the same game, pretty sure devs said over half of it is new.

After hearing the endless good word of mouth right here on Gaf, I decided to give it a purchase.

I'm about four hours in and I'm pretty bored. The story isn't very interesting and none of the game mechanics so far are very challenging. I still die, but not because I'm not good, but because it doesn't matter, I have no lives and I get to start right where I died. The game is basically an experience, so you either like the aesthetic or you don't. Its a pretty game, but there's about all there is to it. It's the same deal with Little Big Planet, its pretty and there's no real platforming to speak of.

I don't even know if I should continue playing it so I can write a review for it on my blog. For a game like this, its not really a fair review if I don't finish it.

Maybe I've just grown out of platforming in general.

I skipped out on the Vita version but rwas sold based off what they showed of the PS4 version im so in, I love the papercraft world. And really as my time gets less I'm finding myself preferring shorter more compact experiences.
