Video game fashion, clothing.

Are you influenced at all by how some video game characters dress?

If so who?

Also do you think video game fashion ever influences society at all?

only sometimes/some people

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.

There are some pretty cool Assassin's Creed hoodies over on ubiworkshop.com.
I'd buy one if they weren't so overpriced.

Do you think there a lot more opportunities that are missed? Like companies that could market their clothing in a video game?

Probably not because most people prefer to dress in a way that doesn't demand attention, where as most characters in games are designed to do exactly that.

No but damn when the opportunity comes to get augmented sunglasses like Adam Jensen

I'll be first in line.

This is nerdy as hell, but I'd buy that suit.
Yeah, it's a nice suit.

Problem with most game fashion is that it's only fashionable in a world where no one has any sense of fashion. Which is to say, everyone looks equally ridiculous.

Also belts. For some reason.

When I was a little kid, I remember telling my mom I only wanted red, green, and blue shirts because that's what Link had.

Surprisingly not bad, those prices though...

Regardless, I don't think I would wear something that stand out too much in terms of Video game apparel because of reasons other than social stigma...

i started to dress like vaan from final fantasy but people keep telling me to put my nipples away

What nipples? All I see is chest bruises.

I've been influenced by colour combinations and certain (normal) styles, but uh....most JRPG games would be tough to follow, fashion-wise.

To be fair though that suit was created by Roen anyway so it's not exactly typical video game fashion. Come to think of it, it's probably the biggest clothing brand I've seen be affiliated with a product in such a capacity to actually create the clothes for a majority of the main cast.

I'd say that the cast in FFXV all have a sense of fashion and self-awareness. It's part of the reason why I love their whole shtick.

In the story, these guys are rich, high-class men from Lucis (which is basically fantasy-Tokyo) and they wear fashionable clothing which reflects that.
