Hahahaha oh wow. Yeah I'm the crazy one for refusing to play the GotY 2015 because of minor technical hiccups that in no way detract from the experience.

But anyway, the point is that you called this a "pile of technical shame" over a minor technical issue that 95% of players won't even notice, and in the same universe where games like Master Chief Collection and AssCreed Unity exist, no less.

Touchy? No, not really, we're certainly rolling your eyes at your ridiculous hyperbole and "mah convictions!" high horse though.

LOL, here we go again

And I don't see any salt where except you getting touchy because people laugh at your hyperbole. So yeah. It's also quite probable that the framerate never gets fixed, so I guess you might never enjoy that "beta". Oh well, your loss.

Edit: I notice you call others "veruca salts". I didn't know what that meant other than it was clearly an insult, so I look it up, and I see this:

lol...? o_O There's something deeply ironic here...

Don't feed the troll. Some people enjoy games, others enjoy crying about them on the Internet

Can't say I'm going to miss this screen. In a way though, that one minute of waiting really lets you soak up on the mistake(s) you made leading to your character's death :p

Interesting. Seems you are a special case then. :)

I had the same. I think the difference is, I would always go to the dash before going into rest mode. Never had any issues with it, bosses were all fine, etc. I guess it's all out the window now anyway.

Awesome. Already have my platinum, but it's good to hear they're making the game of the generation even better. :)

What forbidden woods glitch did they fix? I never knew there was one...

apparently you could "fast travel" from the beginning of the game right to forbidden woods, skipping yharnam altogether. I dunno why you'd want to do this unless your only goal is to speedrun the game though.

edit: beaten

Get to cainhurst faster, or get upgrade items earlier than possible.

Strategy guide is sitting in my car in the box. I'm at the final boss with 3 umbilical cords eaten. Alfred quest done. Crow quest done. Did I do everything? Only boss I think I need to do is daughter.

Part of the greatest boss of all time is dead. Rest easy, sweet prince.

More seriously though is i want to know if pvp and co-op is better. I'll have to wait for more impressions before coming back to the game.

I don't know about Co-Op but PVP is wayyyyyyyyy better.
I am getting invaded constantly and it takes me about 30sec to 2min at most to invade which is huge. I remember waiting over 10 min to invade someone and never being invaded.

I do it to grab the cool attire sets in the woods and/or access Cainhurst sooner to get the Reiterpallasch. I like to wear White Church Set or Graveguard Set when being summoned for help against Cleric Beast or Father G and impress the new players :)

Hardly a scathing insult. More of a commentary on an industry that knows their audience and what they can get away with. ^ Holy fuck you bloodborne people are touchy. Perhaps people are just salty because they already completed the game before it got out of beta. I know I will enjoy it when I finally get around to playing it.

Look someone who buys zero games. Anything with a technical issue is apparently rejected

The new loading screens are a bit of a disappointment, partly because there are no images like in Souls games and DA:I. It would be neat if they featured an image and some info/lore about the enemy that just killed you, and the location you're just about to enter when you move forward.

The long loading time made me a better player because I didn't want to go thru that every time I died. I was more cautious and played smart. It has it pros and cons. In my case it was pro.

Underlevel'd though, so newbs/lesser players like me would not really be doing this.

Edit: I suppose if you've beaten the game and are rolling new toons, it's nice to have. I guess I can see why it's odd they'd patch this since it doesn't really break the game in a "harmful" way. Folks who are new to Souls or prefer not to spoil the game wouldn't be doing this as they'd get wrecked and miss out on a large part of the beginning of the game but those who are experienced can have an extra shortcut. The game is about opening shortcuts too after all...

What're the rules of speedrunning, anyways? If a glitch is used to get the fastest time, but then that glitch is fixed, does it basically just reset? Or are there different categories for a glitched run and a regular run?

You watched the video, though. Right?

I know what it's about but usually anything DLC related is added later. It's not gonna be in the game yet. So people can try digging and they'll find nothing. The prompt is what makes me suspicious.

The door leads to the bridge where the cleric beast is....

Its not a door to anywhere. Just a shortcut.

What a circle jerk this place is. I simply state I am holding off a full price purchase until a bug (that I notice and I don't have to play to notice) is fixed and a bunch of people come out of the woodwork to egg me on and make it like I am ready to bomb the FROM offices and I am on some crusade. I just offered my opinion on a message board. I fully intend to buy the game. I love the Souls series, currently playing through DS2:SotFS , and I am not sure why I got such a negative reaction to a statement regarding a held off purchase. I often hold off on games that have technical issues (mainly frame rate and frame pacing) and it usually pays off. I was faced with similar comments and interactions when I was holding off on playing GTA5 until a PC or next gen release and that paid off. I am drowning in games at all times so why not play them when issues have been ironed out. To the people who circled the wagons over my buying habits I am glad I won't have to deal with you any further.
