See, it's not clear enough to confirm anything...
Either way the silent hills people were looking forward to is dead with Del Toro and Kojima not working on it.

Wondering how many people going "Fuck Konami" are going to be throwing money their way when MGS comes out. Regardless of whats happening this might be their big cash out on AAA titles.
The best way to support Kojima in my opinion is to buy MGS5, make it a success, then not buy the next Metal Gear (if there is one) and it tanks.

For me it depends on whether or not Kojima (or anyone else from KojiPro) sees any royalties from the game's sales. For all we know he may not even be receiving all that high a salary, since most of his income might just come from sales.

Yes you can, log in to the ps store in a web browser and add it to your cart. So far, we don't know if after the date they'll remove the game from the psn or also from the server lists...

I actually wouldn't mind a Sony funded, Kojima del Toro developed PT that ditched the Silent Hills name. Just come up with a new name for PT. Or don't, keep it mysterious.

I know VitaGAF likes it because they've not got much else to like, but man that game completely pales in comparison to even Siren. New Siren on PS4 in non-episodic format would be pretty sweet.
A lot of work just for a PR stunt. I rather trust my magic 8 ball instead.

My point is that they CAN make a good game without them. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have seen what Del Toro and Kojima could have whipped up. However, Kojima is not the end-all game director and there have been times in the past where games were made without Hideo Kojima, heavens forbid.
It's kinda weird how there's this gigantic bubble of suspended disbelief surrounding anything regarding Kojima.
There should be studies made on this phenomenon (If there are, someone please point them out, I'd love to read about it).
I wonder if it's the same thing as the "Elvis/Tupac isn't dead" stuff that just won't die.
It's all a ruse, it's all a ruse! Maybe it's just not wanting to let go of nice things, I guess.
If this has to die, I'd at least want another entry by Climax Studios. They did good their second time with Shattered Memories, didn't try to ape Silent hill 2, no "LOL PYRAMID HEAD IS HERE BECAUSE WE KNOW HE'S COOL AND A FAN FAVOURITE!".

But Team Silent made the first three.
Then they got disbanded.
My point is, since their disbanding, Silent Hill has NOT gotten along fine without them and KojiPro, Del Toro and Reedus were the best hope the franchise had, now it's gone.

Could you please point us to this dream team you have, where they can save the I.P. Remember that the first 3 games where made by Team Silent before they left and P.T was good because of Del Toro & Kojima. So who is left for the task at Konami? The guys that make PES?

If MGS 4 and Ground Zeroes were a stamp of 'quality storytelling' and 'fun game design', I'm glad this has been cancelled. Those games were junk.
Reedus is positive in that he's very famous right now and his face on the game almost guarantees it'll be a financial success, incase Del Toro and Kojima weren't enough.

Given the vastness of space and time there's a world out there with flying pigs. That doesn't mean you'll ever see them in your lifetime.
Silent Hill 3 was released 12 years ago. The series peaked with 2, even longer ago. Sure they could, but this is konami we are talking about. The same people that screwed up their HD remaster and lost their archival code for one of their biggest franchises and had to use buggy alpha code and reverse engineering to put out a half assed product.

Because GAF picks nothing but gold. If I haven't seen several topics in the past about how people disagreed with the GAF GOTY, especially the MGS4 win, I'd take it more seriously. The game was a tech marvel and gorgeous to look at, but that was pretty much it. It took back the MGS franchise considerably.
This is of course IMO so take it as you will.
Sorry for the lack of quote but I'm on mobile, but in regards to the comment if Silent Hill 3 being released 12 years ago, it's better to let some things die that pilfer their corpse again and again.
