This is not as serious as the title may imply.

Hey guys, so a while back I was able to trade is my PS4 and TLOU to Amazon. At the time the trade in value was abnormally high, so that I could get a new PS4 with no out of pocket. Easy swap. Most likely a glitch.

I missed out on the 20th Anniversary console and am a big fan of slate, grey, steel colors etc... I am a fan of D.C. comics in specific Batman. So it was a no brainer to get the Batman Console I thought and still thinks it's looks awesome.

Problem is I'm bored. I miss throwing on spotify and running around in Infamous or Firstlight, drifting in DriveClub, getting new powers in Guacamelee, and even though it's not the most popular playing Destiny with new people online. I miss "Monique" my sexy console. Yes I named my PS4, but that grey ooohhhhhh!

So what should I do Gaf? Cancel my order or dig in and wait for the console I want? Thank you all.

P.S. the absence of a console has got me into Steam and Humble Bundle. I don't have a video card but the Intel 4600 is surprisingly capable. I've been playing Marlow Briggs at 720 and it has a great framerate with no issues. Fun game by the way!


Edit: I got antsy after seeing a Arkham Knight trailer. I have other forms of gaming entertainment. Love playing basketball and movies (Avengers, I can't wait). So I have other things to keep me busy until so I will be patient. Thanks again Gaf.

Funny thing is I used to have a Vita 1000 Crystal White with a decent backlog. Used it for rpgs and ps one classics. About 1 and half ago I got an offer I could not refuse from someone who wanted a white vita bad. That in turn allowed me to get my PS4. Hopefully ps one games will play on the PS4 in the future.

This is the kind of patience that you want to have, or as others have said, the regret you will have for not waiting will likely exceed the boredom/patience you have now. Just catch up on your 2D games backlog, games that will run fine on the 4600HD. There's also great TV shows if you are into that, and I can recommend some great ones if you have not seen them.

Watch some iZombie and Backstrom because they are both set in Seattle/Portland, and those shows have gotten me very hyped for playing Infamous in a month and a half.

Thanks man. Yeah patience is a virtue. I am big on aesthetics and how electronics look on my unit so I get attached to my stuff. Monique was sleek and sultry. I try to give all my tech goodies good nicknames some personal some silly. Blaze is my phone, MediaBox is my PC, Vetty is my Mac. Katherine... as in Kate which rhymes with Slate, not bad.

Usually I don't unless financially it is very worth it. Paid $140 for a Crystal White Vita and sold it for $280. Received $434 in store credit from Amazon, not bad. I was just antsy after seeing an Arkham Knight. But you are correct!

Seriously though, get a Vita! This will make the wait not even seem like wait (because of the awesome titles it has) and it will not be obsolete when your PS4 eventually arrives, you can okay Batman everywhere and anywhere in 60 FPS with dat Vita.
