You know a Groupees bundle is bad when no one bothers to post it here or on Reddit 10 minutes after it's launched.

Looks like absolute garbage - the only thing that looks halfway-decent is New Kind of Adventure. All greenlight titles.

Bundles curated by WGN are usually pretty meh.

It's almost like bundles organized by Who's Gaming Now?! are usually filled with garbage :p

A little piece of my happy pre-orders soul just died a little with that one utter dross

I just vomited into my mouth. Mushy facebuttons are the second biggest fault after the awful d-pad on the 360 controller.

I recall the PS3 had the mushy buttons not 360.
Just pulled my controllers out. They are both fine but the 360 is definitely more clicky than ps3.

Witcher 3

Just defeated
one guy from the Wild Hunt when exploring the elven underground harbour for Ciri
in the lamest way possible. I tried to fight him seriously, but that didn't work out so well. I was so low that I didn't even see any red anymore and he head more than half of his hp left, my swallow was empty and I had no food. So I just used Quen, hit him and rolled away as soon as he hit me, then waited until Quen was up again while rolling away from him. They should really give him another mechanic that punishes lame behaviour.

In a fight for your life nothing is lame if you come out the battle victorious.

Well, some enemies have
health regen so that counters that tactic. Still, I'm the king of lame players then, been doing that for most of the time.

I done exactly the same. One more hit and I would have died so I played it safe, didn't want to have to do the whole fight again.

And 12 hours later finally done with White Orchard, the starting area of The Witcher III.

I topped up my wallet yesterday, using my debit card, and got hit with a market restriction because of an "increase in use". I need to ring up my bank and see what the exact charges were as my online banking history just lists the AUD charges, which isn't exactly helpful as Steam limits you to three verification attempts (and I've already used one).

Urgh tell me about it. While I appreciated the measures are there to protect you and others from fraud if your account gets compromised but the chances of that are pretty slim with the amount of 2 factor hurdles someone would have to go through to get my login credentials let alone change them. That and it always happens at the times when I could make use of the market.

True enough, but that way I won't be able to enter Valhalla.

I wonder how I far against them :D

Haha, lamo-bro fist :D

Reminds me that I need to return. I didn't finish all the quests and more important, I didn't wipe the floor with everybody's Gwent deck. Need more Northern Realms cards!

Not only have DONTNOD outdone TellTale in the story department but have a much, much more technically competent game all round. But TT won't care, I'll bet they will still put out a series with save game bugs and choices not carrying over from episode to episode.

I've got a pretty hardcore Gwent deck for the opponents I've been facing but reading the OT it sounds like it gets signifcantly harder as you get to different areas.

One thing I have done is turn off Undiscovered Location question marks so I'm not AssCreeding my way from objective to objective and actually stumbling on things as I go. Has a bit more of an adventuring feel than the checking off lists attraction of AC.

Aye. The only thing that holds TT up is their really smart choices of franchises. Everything else... nooot so much. I wonder how much goodwill is left from the first TWD.

LiS OT is huge. Did any TT game OT reached 4K posts and 350+K views? :D
Maybe the TT complaint and fatigue threads :D

I can't get over how many people fail to grasp the point of notice boards and non-quest notices in Witcher 3.

Man even at 4X MSAA LiS can't reach 60 FPS for me at max settings @o@
It has FXAA right? I should switch to it and see how it'll perform.

TT games run at 60 FPS steady on my lappy at least so they got that going for them :V

Gonna aim to finish up Ep. 3 later today and join in on the discussion but what I played so far has been really nice, all dem girly hininks and bonding <3

Oh and can I say how I liked how you were supposed to
get past the principal and make your way into his office? Maybe cuz it was a little malnutrition-ed/sleepy at the time, but the fact that reversing time doesn't affect YOUR LOCATION WHEN YOU DO IT, was a nice gameplay element

Yeah, people already get mean when you get to certain points at Velen. With hero cards that are not influenced by weather, with cards that worth [10], with spies that have [0]. But it's cool. I wonder if there are even meaner cards. I would definitly get myself a DLC with more cards and players. Heck, make a whole yugioh-like spin-off DLC story with a tournament hosted by the Nilfgaardians to raise morale.

My Imgur account is ruined by the amount of these I have on there now.

If CDPR made Gwent into a standalone game ala Magic or chirst the flavour of the month Hearthstone, I think I'd be losing a lot of time to that.

My one issue with using a DS3 is not having the Xinput buttons onscreen line up with what's on the controller for all the games without the PlayStation icons. For someone who has used both controllers frequently there wouldn't be an issue with just imagining the 360 layout but I don't think my sister ever used a 360 controller before. I can't imagine that being a simple transition.

Eh... it takes all of maybe two or three days, if that, to adjust to the button prompts being cross-translated from 360 to PS3.

The only problem is the PC ports wanting the 360 triggers while the PS3 triggers SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK so you have to bumper switch some games.
