Usually, we seem to get a rumor of a Sonic title nearly every few months. Most have very little proof to back them up (4chan trolls, some twit's fanfiction that's sent to VO's), but there may be something a tinge more substantial this time around.
Originally found by this tumblr account, the portfolio for one of the actors involved in the German dubs of the games, Romanus Fuhrman (Who plays Dr. Robotnik/Eggman's lackey Orbot) lists a game labeled "Sonic Mach2" for 2015. This doesn't seem to be related to either of the Sonic Boom games released recently (Said character was not in either version of the game), nor the corresponding TV series (It says "computerspiel von sega", similar to the other gaming voice over roles + The game was not renamed in Germany, so there is no need for a cartoon rename), nor the mobile game Sonic Runners (No new voice samples are used within the game).
I normally would consider this to be an open and shut case, but also listed on the site is Sonic Urals, something I can find nothing about (And differs from Sonic Lost World, listed on the site). Supposedly it's a code name for the Sochi Olympics game (Due to the Ural mountains in Russia), but all of his other voice work lists the products under final names instead of code names, so it's a bit of a sore thumb.
Could this be a slip-up? A bizarre hoax? Or just a typo? (Odd they'd release the game this year and not wait for Sonic's 25th next year, if you ask me.)
