Just tested that out. Won't let me get a code. I get this error code:

That's really smart, actually, from a business perspective. By incentivising an Xbox One purchase for someone who plays a lot of games, as evidenced by Gamerscore, they're harpooning a whale and bringing them into their ecosystem. They'd be bound to make that discount back with dividends.

Might have been better to have this type of deal earlier in the generation, though. The vast majority of such whales have undoubtedly already bought in to one console, the other, or both.
