I've read the whole thread and I don't think there's been one mention of co-op... I thought that was extremely fun in U2, so I hope that's included.

If they include multiplayer, co-op will be there as well -- it was part of the whole multiplayer package.

No Golden Abyss isn't a surprise or a dissapointment.

Just give me 60fps, 1080p w/ both Multiplayers and UC3 Co-Op and hell, I'll buy it for $60.

Also, worst kept secret

no Golden Abyss, no multiplayer outside the UC4 beta

welp here's some old games ya'll

No Multiplayer, eh? Shit... But I'm not passing up 60fps Uncharted campaigns or the chance to play UC4 early so fuck it, I'm in.

This fall is going to kill me financially.

Its called the Nathan Drake collection because Naughty Dog's gonna pull a Kojima and introduce a new protagonist for Uncharted 4.

Bluepoint is doing it, no Multiplayer so they're focusing solely on campaign, I think it's safe to say it'll be a pretty, well playing and most importantly, functioning collection.

Oct 9th? Sounds good to me. Gives me 3 weeks to complete the campaigns before Halo 5. Beta access to Uncharted 4 is very nice as well.

Edit: No MP? This better be less than $60 then.

...hate me...
Understandably they don't want to fragment the online player user base between different Uncharted games. And so close to UC4 launch.

I was wondering how they would handle this issue and this is how they do it. No complains here. UC4 beta is there to scratch that itch.

I want this game more than UC4 tbqh.

No MP, that's fine with me.
I would probably wouldn't even play the 2&3 MP's even if it were there, especially since U4 is a few months away.

I agree

They could have included the Vita one too.

If UC4 is the last Nathan Drake game, it's just setup for the series we all really want:

Sully travels around the world performing odd jobs and bedding women twice as young as he.

Admit it: You'd play it.
Leisure Suit Sully

What about the 3D-mode of Uncharted 3?
Hopefully axing it.

Cut MP? No thanks.
This is a ridiculous suggestion. At the very least we should get Uncharted 2 MP, it's fantastic. There absolutely is a reason to include multiplayer, otherwise it's not the complete package.
If they cut the multiplayer that would be a awful idea. They aren't risking anything because after people get their fill with this multiplayer they'll move on to the hot new release. I think in addition to uc3 multiplayer they should include a beta code to 4s multiplayer.
You were saying?

I don't understand why people don't expect multiplayer to be included? It was a part of all 3 games, it should be included in the remastering.
HA!

No Golden Abyss
No Multiplayer for Uncharted 3
No Single Player Demo for Uncharted 4

You had one Job NaughtyDog/Bluepoint/Sony!

Well, gonna buy this anyways LOL

I don't think ANYONE was expecting a singleplayer demo from this lol. Both Uncharted 2 and 3 had mutliplayer betas first.
And only Uncharted and Uncharted 2 had singleplayer demos that were released on PSN, not a pre-order bonus or anything.

They could have had multiple studios handling porting each game and its multiplayer and then develop a way to have cross game playlists. I sort of remember some game trying that ;)

I'm just bummed no UC2 coop. I hope they bring the narrative scenarios back. Really enjoyed them.

The Last of Us still had a SP Demo coming with God of War Ascension. So hoping for a SP Demo coming with this was somewhat justified.

EDIT:

Is it just me, or are you bound to get 504 and 502 errors as well when trying to open NaughtyDog's homepage?

Nope. The only thing that would make me happier than this would be an inFAMOUS Collection, since I absolutely loved Second Son.
i know there are people who criticise these games heavily but if you only get half the fun I got out of this trilogy, it'll be well worth the money. I've got all my favourite scenes running through my head with the improvements they're making and I really can't wait to play them again.

I'd never thought about a inFAMOUS remaster collection but I could definitely go for that. I really enjoyed Second Son but I did think it was the least enjoyable of the three so hopefully you'll get to play those at some point.

Second Son was an absolute blast to play! Here's hoping if Sucker Punch does another one they up the scale and the narrative a bit. That would be one hell of a game!

On Topic: My body is soooo ready to replay the Uncharted games

It's not like these companies would be developing original IPs if they were not making remasters.

They were created for that purpose, so it's a win/win situation.

Problem is when platform holders create remasters it's used as a way to prop up an exclusive game line up. Instead of creating more first party games the companies are just relying on old games to sell the consoles.
