Its highly likely that we won't be dealing with remasters next-gen. Thanks to the change we went through going from exotic CPU design of last gen console to typical x86-64 you get in almost any PC that we have now, as long as they follow what they have been saying we shouldn't have any real issues playing PS4 games on a PS5.

We'll be getting 4K remasters of everything.

Excluding remakes, I can't think of much. I don't feel like it's worth rebuying games I already own just to have them in higher resolution.

FF12 would be nice, if it saw some enhancements. Make the areas seemless, most already seem to be designed to fit together, they just have loading screens due to the RAM limitations. Have the option to select the original license board or the job boards. Maybe rebalance the jobs too.

F-Zero X, maybe? Make it prettier and sound better but keep everything else the same.

Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions - I think "what if?" every time I look at Bastion.

Mega Man X Collection - HD remake with 3D graphics or tons more effects or both.

Diddy Kong Racing - still my favorite kart racer to this day, barely edging out SASRT. Great game that ran like shit, perfect subject.

1. Final Fantasy 6, as long as it is faithful to the original. They got around to updating the first 4 games, so 5 and 6 should be next. I would prefer a totally updated console treatment.

2. Resident Evil 2- REMake style. Just a facelift, no major changes.

3. Final Fantasy 7- ok, sure, but how about we get to this after 6 gets remade in some form? I'd love to see it, but would prefer they not skip from 4 to 7.
