Ugh, unpacking takes forever. Still, thank the Lord for VPNs. Really don't get why PC launches aren't just all simultaneous. The whole VPN to unlock early thing is so damned prevalent anyway.

3440x1440 @ 60Hz here.

i7 4790k @ 4.6Ghz
2x Titan X SLI
32GB 2400 DDR3

60+ fps Gameworks off

29-45 fps Gameworks on

Hopefully the gameworks can be tweaked or something, I want to game @ 60fps so will leave them off for now...

You might want to disable SLI for now: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=169442602&postcount=247

Windows 8.1 Issues

 [SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Heavy flickering occurs in game after Alt+Tab if SLI is
enabled. [200116723]
 [SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Severe stuttering seen, especially in indoor scenes,
when the game is running at 4K resolution and NVIDIA Gameworks settings are
turned on. [200116722]

 [SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Random flickering occurs in the game if SLI is
enabled. [200116717]

 [GM206, SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Stuttering occurs and performance drops
after shadow quality settings are toggled. [200116694]
 [GK180, SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] When SLI is enabled, a crash points to
ntdll.dll shortly after the game is exited. [200116717]

Can someone take a picture of the max settings on the menu because my 780ti is playing this with everything maxed and I'm not impressed me h with the graphics. I'd like to make sure I'm actually maxed.

heads up for the people that dislike it, this game uses Denuvo protection so it probably harms performance somewhat.

What? That's horrible. (And also seems like something that should've been mentioned prior to release)

Had I known that I would've just gone with a console version. There's absolutely no need for more DRM when the game is on Steam already.

No idea what it is, but my game just got a 1.1GB update,

Here's a benchmark from some flying around, fighting and then the driving sequence. The smoke is definitely the thing that kills the framerate the most. Was down at around 30 very often when driving.

Looks like a pretty disappointing port so far. Hopefully it's just one or two Gameworks settings which is tanking the FPS. The 30fps lock is worrying though. Hopefully I can get 60fps on my 970/2500k without the Gameworks stuff.

Did Rocksteady do this port or did they farm it out to someone else?

Maxed out @ 1080p with Vsync enabled through Nvidia control panel

i7-4790k @ 4.7ghz, 970 stock

Min: 29fps
Max: 60fps
Average: 47

970 core clock increased by 175

Min: 36fps
Max: 60fps
Average: 53

Guess I'll need to turn down a couple of settings.

I also got an update a little while ago but the game hasn't unlocked for me (US).

Going by the impressions so far it looks like SmokeWorx is getting immediately turned off. Not worth the dips.

This is fucking ridiculous. I'm having everything on Normal with my 280X and the frame drops to lower 10s is so frequent I would call this current state unplayable. The first time riding the Batmobile is even borderline freezing, dropping to single digits. It somehow doesn't even seem to use my GPU, the fans are so quite as if I'm not even playing. Anyone else have this issue? Anyway, to anyone with a 280X (and maybe even AMD in general, but I don't know how other cards perform): for the time being, stay clear. If you have the option to buy it on consoles, do it. If not, don't buy it.

Comcast just told me that I've reached my monthly 300GB internet allotment. They'll be charging me more so that they don't run out of internet! It's a non-renewable natural resource, and I'll be damned if I'M the reason they run out of internet. I'll wait until next month to download it. Fortunately, I've got the Witcher 3 to keep me company.

That said, once Google Fiber is available for 75 % of this country, if Comcast is still in buisiness, we deserve whatever plague or natural disaster will inevitably destroy us.

Holy shit this runs between 1 and 10 frames during the intro sequence on my 970, i5 3450, 8GB RAM and on an SSD. No gameworks settings enabled. It stutters so much i feel like my PC is dying.

I'm gonna get the new drivers and reboot. See if that helps.

How are ppl gettign sli working I dont have a profile in nvidia inspector. with the game ready driver Can someone post the bits they are using please.

My rig:
i5 2500K@4.4 GHz
GTX 970 Twin FROZR V (FoceWare 353.30)
8 GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz

My results:

Now we are talking.

I can't believe they didn't implement HBAO+ in this game. The in-shadow elements look flat and disconnected from the scene because of it. :(

The smoke is incredible though. Best implementation I've seen. Love that it's casting shadows too. I must have it enabled!

Did you install the beta driver?

Yes I did, which baffles me thinking it can even get worse than this.

We've had 290 user report fantastic framerates in this thread. Until we see other AMD users on similar cards, we can't comment. I certainly wouldn't run around telling everyone to buy it on console just yet.

I'm really thinking there's something wrong on my end, because my GPU doesn't make sound at all, as if it's not even under load. May very well be the reason why it performs like shit. I don't know how to make it roar like a beast again, just fired up The Witcher 3 and it sounds loud as usual.

Same card same problem.

Game runs like shit, it's not even a great looker so it feels like there's something wrong with the port, with it being locked to 30fps too something is off.

Those screens look very grainy, can you turn the grain off?

What do you think this is, some sort of PC game?

Do you know where you are?

Ah it's not using SLI anyway. Not bad then for one Titan X. SLI disabled...
Downloaded new drivers etc...SLI is enabled, yet the game isn't using my second 680 at all. 3% usage.
They pushed the SLI bit through games works, use that. (super shitty of them to do that IMO, pretty obvious why they did...)

I'm pretty new to all this. So you mean I have to enable Gamesworks features to enable my second GPU to be used? Just a single feature, or all of them?

I assume this can be changed. Will be playing with an Xbox One controller

Yeah, it auto detects whatever is connected.

Initially tried my DS4 using inputmapper came up with 360 prompts, imputmapper off PS4 controls.

That's really sweet imo...

Try uninstalling the drivers using this:

http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Then reinstalling.

Or it could just run like crap on anything lower than a 290? Which would be really odd tbh but plausible?
