They own the studioWhere does it say it was a decision from MS?
Why did you change the title? clickbait?

Took them long enough in my opinion, Mojang considered/talked about pulling the plug before MS took over. My only hope is that they try and make new games (Even if they are smaller ones) and not be a Minecraft only developer.
Title is pure clickbait.
I just copy/paste the title of the tweet from Polygon official account.

I'm not sure that /s is necessary.
You seemed to have missed The Coalition.
Seems like Microsoft's business model is very much about creating one franchise studios.
343: Halo
The Coalition: Gears
Turn 10: Forza
Mojang: Minecraft
Lionhead: Fable
343i Dat Halo studio
Lionhead Dat Fable studio
Coalition Dat Gears studio
Mojang Dat Minecraft studio
Turn10 Dat Forza studio
That's scary accurate. That's kind of a misleading headline. It's getting another update and people will still be able to play it. It makes sense since only a small number of people played it to begin with.
Oh wait, sorry, I was using my head, let me try again.
Rabble rabble Minecraft factory rabble M$ rabble rabble studio gonna be gutted.
I thought MS said they would give their studios more freedom? Or is that exclusive to Rare only?
Bethesda did.
Actual headline at Polygon is "Minecraft's maker shuts down Scrolls".
Anyhow, good game OP.
Pretty sure Polygon changed it. Don't think this one is on the OP.
Yeah. Shame on Polygon. Hopefully this thread title gets changed.
Bethesda cared about the name, likely because they wanted to use it for the Elder Scrolls card game they recently announced.

Mojang seems to be destined to be the "Minecraft Company" as much as Gamefreak is the "Pokemon Company".
Never tried Scrolls, but card games are a big-hit-or-miss thing.
I was struggling to think of an MS studio that wasn't 1 IP only. Forgot about Rare.
Imagine having lionhead and sticking them on only Fable til the end of time. Jesus.
