So, how long will it take for someone to put up encrypted BSNES+Super Metroid ROM on Steam?
(I would so totally buy that, copyright infringement be damned)

Also, are you ready for more Borderlands?

Man...totally read that store page as Warhawk. >_> I loved it on ps3 but i think it's exclusive to that system right? lol

also woo Terraria 1.3 and DOA5 patch (oh wait that got delayed...)

They patched some of the missing graphic effects back in, a few days ago.

Well it had some rain textures and AO which didn't come with AK PC initially but has been patched in as of a couple of days ago.

What we need now is some serious optimizations for performance and bug fixing for the memory leaks the game is plagued with.

So it's now effects-wise equal to the console versions but still needs more work to make it a non-buggy turd.

Ah ok. I haven't had a chance to boot it up yet since the patch. Still waiting on the optimizations before firing it up again. I don't think I should be seeing every possible FPS between 1 and 60 when the Bats isn't doing anything....

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
And still no pad support? damn...
Although I've been getting better with kb/m so i might give t another go

Between my time spent in Terraria and the Portal 2 map maker, I am about 30 mouse clicks away from carpel tunnel.

I've been trying to use them wisely.

I was thinking about re installing The Last Remnant after losing my save on my old computer but I don't know.

Oh god wait it had Games for Windows Live. Does it still have it?

Sword of Destiny's english translation was published about two~ weeks after TW3: Wild Hunt came out. I know this because I ordered it just when it was published and have it sitting here on my desk. Ofcourse, I don't know if it's perhaps not launched where-ever you are (the US?), buuuut here in europe it's out, and it's glorious.

Yeah Amazon is showing me a release in December or something.

....Anyway I can go about ordering from EU and shipping here...?

Pretty sure it's Steamworks, can't remember if it was GFWL. Remember the box saying "Games for Windows" but yeah.

I thought it didn't have it just the branding on the box like DMC4 did.

Yeah. Apparently there is a difference between Games for Windows and Games for Windows Live. Games for Windows is just like "Microsoft Seal of Approval" or whatever, but doesn't have anything to do with DRM.

Are you sure? I don't remember it having GFWL.

Yep, it doesn't have GFWL.

I swear I remember it having Games for Windows Live. Maybe I am remembering incorrectly.

Midweek Madness - Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, 75% Off

Ooof just saw it. Really hope it'll show up on Nuuvem or gmg >_>;
$40 is a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle steep for me but I'll bite eventually.

The other regional prices on Steam aren't any better.

Games for Windows != Games for Windows LIVE

Nah I know the differences but I remember seeing the GFWL Xbox styled overlay and stuff but again I could be confusing it with other GFWL game I played. I was playing Dawn of War 2 at the same time around then.

Probably just imagining it.

Pricing is bonkers on this. The standard pricing for an episodic adventure game, as established by Telltale, is $5/episode. They are marketing this as 5 episodes, but even if you generously include the epilogue, that gets you to $30.

Then take into consideration that this is a reintroduction of a brand, so you'd expect the price would be lower--being willing to sacrifice some ROI on this project has positive implications for the brand more broadly--and that the brand itself, while carrying a certain appeal with older gamers, is much smaller than the brands Telltale is currently working with.

Not saying it can't possibly justify $40, as obviously older KQ games cost that at release and plenty of new games do as well, more that even if it justifies $40, this might not be the smartest move for the project's success.

I'd have maybe went with $25 and the first episode is free or something like that as an onboarding deal.

If an average episode is twice as long as with Telltale, would you be more willing to accept the price?

At £32 I doubt I'll be jumping on this at launch, depends on how well it's received I guess.

Couldn't agree more. It this is supposed to get me on board, the price is keeping me away currently. Will wait to see just what is in store.

On the one hand you got Christopher Lloyd as one of the voice actors, so maybe the voice acting fee might be covered with this $40 price point?

Regardless I agree, $40 is quite pricey, they should really consider offering a discount for pre-purchase. Then again the game is within the $30 range in Turkey :p

I'm in the same boat, I want KQ, but nowhere near 40€ want. I kinda hoped with some early purchase discount it will be sub 20€. Totally forgot about Acti, yeah not buying it any time soon.

Games for Windows != Games for Windows LIVE

Tell me you already upvoted that picross game
