* Seth Rollins kicks off SmackDown talking about John Cena and RAW. He's interrupted by Cesaro, which leads to our first match.
* Kevin Owens comes out for commentary. Rollins vs. Cesaro ends in a DQ when Owens attacks Cesaro. Rollins teases a confrontation with Owens but they double team Cesaro instead.
* Los Matadores and The Lucha Dragons defeated The New Day and The Ascension.
* Summer Rae and Rusev come out for a promo about what happened on RAW with Lana and the fish.
* Rusev defeated Jack Swagger. Rusev attacked Swagger after the match but Swagger counters and applies the Patriot Lock.
* Stardust defeated R-Truth. Stardust cut a promo in the ring after the match but Neville attacked him.
* Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro and the partner he found, Dean Ambrose, is the main event. The ending came when Ambrose countered a pop-up powerbomb and Cesaro rolled Owens up for the win to end SmackDown.
Wow. The burial continues, unabated. I'm sure he will rise above it as much as he can, but that's terrible.

No women wrestlers ?

Apparently the announced Becky vs. Nikki match did not happen at the SD tapings. Maybe they decided they didn't want Becky taking a loss yet?

It did and she won, my old roommate went and photo'd it. Was a bit earlier though, may have been a dark match?

So I asked in the old thread, I think it got missed but I really need Wrestlgafs help.

I'm traveling to Japan for just over 2 weeks from the 30th of September till the 16th of October. Staying in Tokyo from the 30th till the 10th, then Nagoya from the 10th until the 12th and then Osaka 12th till the 16th. I really really want to check out some NJPW while over there.

I've been checking out the NJPW upcoming shows listed on here http://www.njpw.co.jp/match/?ne=1&ticket=1
and the only show they have listed for October is on the 12th in Tokyo while I'm on the other side of the country,

Does anyone know if they are likely to add more shows for early October or am I out of luck with seeing NJPW and will have to try for something else if I want to get my Japanese Wrestling fix in while over there. I did read something about NJPW being in UK late September so I'm worried I'm out of luck for being able to see them, are any of the other companies worth seeing while I'm over there?

Has she won a match yet? It would be werid for her to lose her first match while the others won.

She won the tag match last night, unless you mean a single's match.

Becky vs Brie was recorded for Main Event, the Becky/Nikki match that was advertised for SD didn't happen. #TwinMagic

Wait, so they made Miz a coach and made Byron the host of Tough Talk? Those were literally the worst two decisions they could make.

Weird that I barely heard any of these complaints when we were talking about Roman Reigns flabby chest or Baron Corbin's body

I'm not sure but some others will be able to speak up. Everyone will still be recovering from the G1 even then, but I think they get back in the saddle in October for sure.

i propose nobody is allowed to make fun of owens without posting a proven picture of themselves first, i have a sneaking suspicion he's in better shape than a lot of the people in here

I have a sneaky suspicion that the people who get offended by it are heavyset themselves and are taking the Owens insults personally. When in reality, Owens is a talented guy, making big money now, he's got a hot wife and a young family. He's not relatable at all to you people and you shouldn't be so hurt by it.

Man, Tough Enough needs to kick off Paige with her shrieking. She is a terrible judge. Glad Miz was added to the judges panel so he can counter the terrible Paige.

She's insufferable and simply WRONG most of the time. It's almost as if they got a kid to sit with the grown folks. Wait, shit! They did!

Whatshisname was right. Paige is just some shitty chav.

Can't answer your specific question but had a couple comments:

- Looks like the 10/12 event in Tokyo is one of the bigger events of the year so might be worth going out of your way to try to catch it. Might be in Japan around this time and if so will definitely be trying to get tickets.

- Looking at the big show in September, there are a bunch of events that lead up to it, so probably a few other options, but it's hard to say where they might be at.

- Are you going to get a Japan Rail Pass? Probably a wise choice for that last week of your stay, given your itinerary (unless you already have other travel plans). If so, you COULD get from Nagoya to Tokyo in a 2-3 hours, catch the show, and then head back to Nagoya or Osaka after the show, all covered in the rail pass. A lot of traveling for a day but it's an option (depending on what time the event ends - looks like last Osaka Shinkansen is 9:23) :)

It's kind of weird how actually, y'know, wrestling focused ruthless aggression smackdown was. Raw was excessive attitude era esque nonsense but smackdown had the smackdown six, iron man matches, tales of the tape, and a cruiserweight division.

Bryan often has nothing to add. Might as well replace him with someone like Ziggler who will embrace talking on the microphone.

Saxton is a not a good replacement for Miz as the Tough Talk host. Bring in Christian.

It's not even the shrieking anymore, she's just downright terrible lol. She really has a grating personality. Props to her if she's faking it.

Also everyone should try LiS with the new episode out. It's too much fuckery for one game.

God, Smackdown use to be so fucking good. I remember there was a point in time where I wouldn't even bother with RAW because of HHH and Evolution. Smackdown was so goooooooood. Now it's no more important than Heat or Velocity.

I hated it when we had it, but I think a brand split could benefit the bloated roster we currently have. Plus, I loved the early drafts, it was so much fun when I was a wee mark. It was also great in the games, I forgot which one had the co-op GM mode or whatever? But you'd be the GM of one of the shows and draft against your friend.

Yeah, Tough Enough has soured me on Paige. She was already losing me with her wrestling and promos, so this has cemented it for me. She needs to go heel and embrace the Bella life to make me interested again.
