Zombi U rated in Taiwan as Zombi for XB1, PS4

well in the event of Bayo 2 being ported somehow happens

Best case Scenario is that ill be extremely surprised

I mean, if Nintendo decides they want it on Xbox One and PS4, then maybe it can happen. Why wouldn't Nintendo want to fund game development on another console?

Can you?

The game also had mixed reception at the outset (including a Gamespot 4.5) which killed it even more than the Wii U exclusivity did.

I believe it sold less than Red Steel, which had a much worse Metacritic average.

Amazing game.

fuck that glitch that ended my game just before the end.

I ran into a scripting glitch that stopped me from progressing about 3/4s of the way through. Had to restart. So I agree. Fuck this game.

That said, it's an amazing game. I had to play through it almost twice after all and I still thought it was amazing. I highly recommend people pick it up.

Woohoo, it's happening!

Now I can crush that niggling voice telling me to buy another Wii U just for this one game. Sweet.
Lol you need to stop deceiving yourself.. You were never interested in buying the wii u. You have been an avid critic of it since its release.

Nintendo games whether it's from Nintendo or third parties in general have this. It signifies that it's a game for that platform. Why is it there? I don't know, but it's been there for ages.

Super _____, ______ 64, and _______ U.
You forgot wii _____

Wonder if it'll be a digital download or if they're going all in and making it a retail release

Roguelikes/Souls style games are more popular now than when the game first came out. It seems like a sound idea to get the game on some more platforms

I know I'm being a dick by saying this, so I'm sorry in advance...when was the last time you downloaded something that wasn't digital? Sorry, just one of those little things that kinda bugs me.

Red steel had a new control method and deceptive advertising. Read: advertising.

Not anywhere. Just on the consoles that have an audience that enjoys stuff like Dying Light and Dark Souls.

Neither of those games are very similar to this one, and unless they've spent a lot of money on fixing this up its extremely divisive.

ZombiU had just as much advertising, and it's own unique gimmick as well. Nice try.

And yes, the audience that's into games like Dying Light and Dark Souls might be interested in Zombi. The only place it was divisive was reviews, as most people that played the game enjoyed it. I know you want it to fail in the worst way on Sony's platform, because it failed on Nintendo's, that's clear as day given your post history.

It will probably be called Zomba in the US.

You've clearly found me out shirlock. It obviously has nothing to do with the fact that the title doesn't have a strong market anywhere (even where it's possible that it will indeed garner some sales on the more core oriented market). It certainly had a troubled development cycle, which showed (yes I did play it). And red steel had a bigger campaign iirc as well. Far more hype surrounding the title, too. But no, fanboy stuff and shit.

One less reason to pick up a Wii U, especially considering they refuse to drop the price of that fucking system

I thoroughly enjoyed ZombiU. It was possibly the only Wii U game that used the Gamepad in a novel way and made the system feel unique.

The game had a good atmosphere and pacing. The only part I hated was the
completely unnecessary ghost zombies
. If they bump the graphics up a bit, I wouldn't mind playing through it again if it's sold at a reasonable price.

I'll be there day fucking one. This was an AMAZING game. I bought it for my bro for Xmas one year because people NEED TO PLAY IT, but I don't think he ever did lol.

Sucks because he's a big-time Souls dude, too.

Are people really wanting to play this game?

it's was and ramains the only reason i even own a WiiU...so the sooner this comes (and a sequel if possible) the sooner i can sell the console i no longer use. it was demon's souls with zombies in london...what was to dislike?

i think he's saying the word "download" in the term "digital download" is a little redundant seeing as a digital version of a game requires downloading anyway?

If you dont ration from the very start you quickly become reliant on the damn bat despite it being very ineffective.

It's actually 100% effective so long as your spacing is correct and you haven't triggered more than one zombie. It's a very good defensive item and a solid way of saving ammo. Firearms will give you range and power, and better enable you to deal with multiple enemies quickly, but generally it's harder to hit zombies with guns than with the bat since they move pretty fast. And as with the bat, having more than one zombie after you still means you're in deep trouble.

That has to do more with the controls than the Zombies. Noticed it when I first played the MP where you use pointer controls instead of Dual Analog. Headshots, headshots everywhere. Got over 100 Zombies in Survival before my friend and me got bored, could have just as easily killed 100 more.

It doesn't have a strong market anywhere? You're basing this "fact" off a Wii U exclusive?

Red Steel's campaign size means nothing, the game was garbage compared to ZombiU. "Far more hype surrounding it". Where? On GAF? Means nothing.

And yes, I've seen enough of your posts to know, it's fanboy shit.

Red Steel had multiple pullout features & multiple TV advertising campaigns in multiple regions. ZombiU had, last I recall, some 20 second teaser on european TV and that's it. It was pushed a lot more, and had more mainstream appeal as a game (even if it was shittier). But OK, fanboy shit it is.

Sorry to bump this but I didn't want to make a new thread. Just adding more fuel to the fire. Nintendo UK tweeted an image of Wii U exclusives. Notice something missing?
