I wonder if Roy got nerfed(particuarly the f smash).

Also wondering if mii fighters finally are playable in for fun and glory.. And how many friends is possible online with tourney mode.. Once the servers are back.

Apparently the characters that turn up during smashes also count in the data which is where the extra bloat to the total comes from :p E.g. Dunban & Riki, Chrom, all the megamen, etc.

Lol, never happening. However, with Tourney Mode you'll be able to use the Mii Fighters so technically you can play against anyone with them online now (unless they block them anyway...)

The three minute thing is weird

The warning says "you may be limited to three minutes" so it might only be Miiverse videos that are limited, as the phrasing is strange

It implies you won't always be limited

So you can confirm there's more hitstun/less knockback on it? Any true combos past 20 or 30%?

the japanese says "there are situations where you won't be able to upload replays longer than three minutes" but who the fuck knows what that means

Still a believer in the Dr. Mario stage - clearly not for this patch but someday. Looks too perfect to be fake.
This may be blind hope.

Love the new remixes though, very impressed that they're not just doing straight rips for the stages.

My estimations via 3ds version on Zelda. Could be just the change of platform or me being crazy with some of these.

U-air and d-air feel a bit faster. Maybe faster frame data or less lag.
Din's Fire seems to move faster
They had to have changed something running or grab related. Feels easier to pivot, way easier.

I think it's predominately due to less knockback. You can get a good jab in to get 0 to 23% easy, it seems like it still works up to 50-60% too. Haven't really messed around much more with her as I'm trying everyone out. It is pretty great from what I've done so far though.

Edit: Actually FOW is just doing Robin I checked his stream. I fyou wanna see it in action.

Also, damn. Down throw up air at 100% seems like a guaranteed kill? Or at least a great chance for a kill read.

The stage select screen kills it

Miiverse moved up to the top row which now has three stages, and the icons are smaller and cropped correctly

jesus sakurai wants only 3 minutes because its when smash is at its most pure, why the fuck would i want to watch a match thats 3 minutes and 1 second or more? no one wants to see that cause its butt. god king sakurai understands this which is why he is the chosen one.

Never happening? Then WTF is the point of buying the costumes in the first place?! I don't want to buy costumes if I can't even play it in most of the online modes. This is ridiculous..

3 minute time limit means you can't even upload for glory matches. lol

The Zelda Medley sounds nice, especially the Zelda's Lullaby portion. Nothing mindblowing but it's a nice bonus.

The menu doesn't say you can't upload more than three minutes. Just there might be a situation when you can't but we don't know that situation yet

Seems like I just missed it. orz

Thanks for this, though! D-throw never linked into jab before IIRC, so that's an interesting change. Does it seem like it follows up with f-air or u-air?

Seriously, I can't believe that they wouldn't let you to upload an entire for glory 6 minute match if that happened. At the very least I would think the 'limit' would be 6 minutes based on that. It'd be weird to not be able to even full matches using the Nintendo supported rules.

It's Neogaf + Smash. Any excuse to despise Sakurai will be taken at the earliest opportunity no matter how flimsy the evidence is.

52 base characters (including 3 Mii fighters)
4 DLC characters

There's more than 6 final smashes that transform the characters (Giga Bowser, Wario Man, Giga Mac, Mega Lucario, Mega Charizard, Landmaster, Super Sonic, Super Dragon, Super Pac-Man, Octopus), so I'm not sure which ones are covered there.

Aww, fuck, well... maybe it's the beta version...? Or the stage select screen is faked but the other ones weren't?
