Hopefully they can keep the framerate this smooth. Sen and Sen II had their fair share of endgame hiccups on Vita (which was only to be expected considering what was going on, though). Looks great.

Never played a bad Falcom game before, I figure this'll be decent at WORST.

Looked generic as hell. All I saw was idols, idols and more idols. And just obnoxious and annoying characters from your typical anime. Same reason I steer clear of Tales of and similar JRPG, this one is not for me. I'll always miss classic Falcom.

The thing though is that the general school setting is what is popular right now. The idol stuff depends on who you talk to. But things like the smartphone idolmaster games for example are making mad bank for Bandai Namco. Id imagine the idol stuff more has to do with the modern setting than anything else. Excuse to put some sort of song in the game lol.

I like the movement in the dungeon, and stuff like dodging out of the spiked wall trap.

I'm guessing because you have full movement there's no cut away to fight arena.

frankly, once the game is "done", I don't know, how much ADDITIONAL effort would be to have the text translated internally during the last stretch of the release (like last 3 months)?
and then just involve a publisher...
Even with a huge amount of text, a decent translator shouldn't cost them more than say 3k usd brutto per month for say 3 months? 9k usd? Heck...
They can EASILY recoup that... :|

Yeah it's a good choice to have the game. Can't really think of another game that's had it has a main location. So that's a nice plus.

Really can't wait to get this game. Hopefully falcon ships it early like they have for all the games I've ordered from them before.

Only thing noteworthy was the gameplay, and that's the main reason to play it for me. I wasn't expecting anything stellar, but the idol stuff really made me cringe.

Hopefully the combat more than makes up for it.

I actually thought it looked rather great.

As someone who hasn't played the Kiseki games beyond 15-ish mins of the Vita game that was on PS+ Japan recently, I liked what I saw.

The action gameplay looked fun, though I'm trying to wrap my head around how deep it will be. Enemies look reaallly uninspired unfortunately.

But I really like urban environments set as a setting, (or at least an overworld/hubtown in this case) so it's nice we get to see that for a change of pace.

The character designs looked rather nice too, sure the tropes can be seen from a mile away, but they still look good.

The shoe-horned idol stuff at the end looked dumb, but overall the game looks like something I'll enjoy.

Also, where have I seen that stiff walking animation before in a Vita game? I distinctly remember playing a game with really weird animations like that, was it Ragnarok?
