I'm assuming the kickstarter keys will go out when the game unlocks? Nothing on my account @ The Brotherhood. Excited to play this.

The first time it hit the internet was December 2010...so that sounds about right!
Oh, I meant to say want, not was. Arg, damn typos. I had no idea that my discovery of the game was so early on! Congratulations, it definitely looks like it'll hit all the right notes with me. I love all the sci-fi inspirations, and I've adored isometric since I first played Fallout. Seems like a game made just for me, and those don't come along very often! I'm envious of your creation!

Never heard about this game, but I'm thinking about buying it upon reading impressions. I can't quite imagine an isometric game being scary, Sanitarium was at times creepy or disturbing but never scary.

This sounds awesome. I've really been on the isometric binge lately so I'll wish list this and probably pick it up when the weather is cooler and spooky games somehow seem more appropriate.

Glad it's reviewing so well, always nice to see niche indie success stories. I hope that good sales figures follow!

How's the UI? Scalable\readable from a distance? I play on an HDTV from about 6ft back. Sanitarium mention has me all kinds of interested.

Same question here. Was planning on picking this up when the Steam controller releases so UI scalability is something I'm hoping for.

Oh god, there's this, Mad Max, MGSV plus I'm still playing Shadowrun Hong Kong..... THERE'S NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN A DAY!

I'm sure you're busy, however, will the soundtrack be available separately as DLC or on Bandcamp? Only got the lore doc in the KS, didn't spring for the music tier.

It was a fitting tribute. Alien has had such a huge influence on my life - I just hope that that influence is felt in Stasis!

I've only played that old preview build but it did the Alien thing better than anything, save for Alien: Isolation. I'm really looking forward to playing the full game tonight!

Congrats for release!

I'm not sure I'll be able to refrain myself to buy straight away, but I'm curious if there will be an updated 'demo'.
I've just an old macbook and the alpha ran so and so...that's why I'm asking.

Also, no kidding and I know you are very busy now, I always wondered if you ever tried the 'export to iOS' feature of the engine...I would LOVE to play this in bed on my iPad and let it scare me the hell out of me.

I really do want an iPad version - and the interface would work pretty well with it, but if it does happen it will be in a good few months.

Just reading this makes me happy, thanks....I really hope it will come.
I actually tried the alpha on iPad via splash top (I sent videos long ago if I'm correct) and was already 'feasible' interface wise, could be GLORIOUS properly done.

That said....I know myself...so I'll probably won't resist and argue with wife about 'late work' stuff on the Macbook tonight :p

I really wish you the greatest of successes with your 'baby'...the world needs more Alien-themed and isometric games!!!

Gah, I'm a bit conflicted about this title. In terms of content and narrative, it seems like something I'd like to experience. However, my experience with point-and-clicks is mixed, as I often don't enjoy them. I'm just not sure...

Why don't you often enjoy them? Just in general or due to obscure obtuse puzzles? I've found that for the most part the puzzles here are pretty logical. And there is tension and stakes because you can die in many horrible gruesome ways.

Still waiting for Steam to unlock the game. :(

But I'm enjoying the soundtrack in the meantime.
Mark Morgan's tracks are fantastic as usual (especially "The Smiling Doctor"and "The Dark in the Light") but all the other tracks are also really really great ("Ghost Ship" sure is a fitting name for that track :D).

Glad that I backed it on KS.

Hi, I'm nortonff. I spend my life going into threads to say that I don't care about the topic of the thread. It's a really good use of my time.
Dammit, I will have to buy this.

Game looks amazing.

It's so refreshing to see older presentational styles revisited with modern sensibilities, kind of like Pillars of Eternity.

Any idea of the typical playthrough length?

From what I remember in the previous thread or on the Steam forums, testers were going 8-15 hours depending on how puzzle smart you are, which is probably like 12-20 for people like me.
