I was able to do so once on Tues. evening. The rest of the time, no.

2. Which platform are you on? (PS4, XONE,PC)

PS4

3 What error are you getting (if any)?

Both could not connect and server maintenance

4. What region are you playing in?

US (central)

5. If you can connect, does Online Mode make the iDroid menu slow?
Yes, it was noticeably slower- so much so that I manually went to offline mode again within 10 minutes.

Can we also talk about how their iPad second screen app is currently not compatible with the Xbox One version and only works on 64-bit iPhones/iPads for no apparent reason (i.e.: iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPad Air 1, and Air 2)

Yup, I didn't realize I wasn't online at first but tried a few times until I finally connected (late last night). Downloaded my GZ save, not that I had 'recruited' many people in GZ so I didn't much care either way but the unbearable iDroid slowness after will mean I won't bother again for a while. I have no interest in online for a bit anyway.

- Uh, sometimes. I was able to get online and claim some Motherbase rewards but not much else. I've also had frequent disconnects while playing.

2. Which platform are you on? (PS4, XONE,PC)
- PC.

3 What error are you getting (if any)?
- 1-an-amount-of-zeroes-4... or 5. I really have no idea.

4. What region are you playing in?
- Australia.

5. If you can connect, does Online Mode make the iDroid menu slow?
- Not terribly slow, but it does take a little bit longer to load.

Really annoying is I got invaded and could connect to him to defend myself, so some asswipe got a free win and my single player suffered for it.

By all means, please do. I think Konami has been treating non-Japanese customers like 2nd class citizens, hiding the server information on their Japanese website, and Xbox gamers like 3rd class citizens, having never turned the servers on for the Xbox version at all.

That's what I believe anyway, till I see evidence that anyone with an Xbox was able to connect....

1. Most of the time, yes. But not all the time.

3. One time it was maintenance, another time it just said it couldnt connect, I forget what else.

5. Yes iDroid is very slow sometimes.

Yes. When trying to develop new stuff the pages take a while to load. I actually have to back in and out of the IDroid to get it to load properly.

5) DAMN yes it does. It was fine when the servers werent working but now it can take up to 20 seconds to load up simple stuff like weapon upgrades.

Activated the game when it went live at midnight on Tuesday and could not connect to the service. It's been offline since thanks to resume. What am I missing with no server connection anyway?

Yes and No, I can get on in the mornings but I get booted off ~12pm UK time and then won't be able to till the next morning.

It did this morning, what usually took 2-5 seconds to load took at least 20 seconds...

I'm on PC, I was able to connect once yesterday for about 10 minutes at like 6:30pm EST

It booted me off after that but I think I'll stay offline because load times are half as long when in offline mode.

I managed to log in once so I could download my GZ save. Then it disconnected me sometime later.

Hoping they have this sorted for MGO.

They probably didn't expect so many people to try playing the game at once.

I seem to be get on for PC without too much trouble, in North America. Problem is that yeah, it slows down not just the idroid, but most loading takes significantly longer so I disconnect on purpose otherwise it takes way too long to do anything.

5. Super duper slow. Anywhere from 5-30sec waits when opening up a menu on the iDroid.

FYI, it also seems to affect loading into MB or the open world zones.

5. If you can connect, does Online Mode make the iDroid menu slow? Yes. Just navigating or even returning to the title screen takes 1 to 2 min, which I think is bad as it is.

5. Can't remember if it was slow or not, I was also in the beginning so no FOB stuff, but it seemed to run the same as offline

I declined the Konami terms and conditions for the online features. It literally says they can delete/modify your save data without repercussions. There's a lot of other weird stuff too.

Thankfully I can still play in offline mode. Can't transfer my GZ save, which is bullshit, but it doesn't add anything particularly interesting, right? Also I'm guessing the CE dlc won't work either.

A) Yes, since day one, have had to disconnect twice. Have raided a few FOB's and had mine raided once in retaliation.

A) The twice I've had to disconnect it's said "will not be able to acces online features error...."

A) Yes, it affects the IDroid as well as the loading screens. I had a rant about it on the OT last night! SERIOUSLY, WHY WOULD IT AFFECT THE IDROID!?

Oh so server problems is why it takes the iDroid forever to load? Guess I'll stick to playing offline then

To answer the questions,

1. Occasionally I can get on but then it usually says there are server problems and boots me offline later on in the play session. Usually slow to connect at the beginning when it does. I've noticed this also makes the title screen/menu take forever to load.

2. PS4

3. Usually just something like "There was an error connecting to the server, you are now playing in offline mode" or something along those lines

Was slow to connect, but did.

Haven't gotten any error messages.

iDroid was sluggish as hell so I disconnected.

I'll probably mostly play offline as I have no interest in the invasion stuff anyway. I just want to get through the game.

I was able to connect on PS4 yesterday when I got home from work. Played C2W mission and when I got to the helicopter to extract the game crashed. Loaded back into the game and couldn't connect to the servers for the rest of the night.

I did it once tuesday morning to transfer over my GZ save data. But got busted down to offline mode shortly after. No big deal though, I actually prefer to be offline since being online seems to really slow down your idroid.

1. Twice. First time yesterday and I managed to download my GZ save and get the daily bonus. I was logged in early today, but it constantly failed to connect when trying to give me the FOB tutorial.
