so you twist
ISIS attacked only the faction against Assad aka FSA and others and never shot a bullet against Iran that's the ground facts .so let us be real.

How about you get real and study some facts, Iran lost several IRGC soldiers and some of them high ranking officers in Iraq fighting ISIS. You know why ISIS can carry out attacks in Saudi Arabia as opposed to Iran? Because they can easily find local help and refuge in the KSA.

Care to give an evidence? Cuz it seems like a wild assumption. specially with ISIS attacks in SA ( last one killed many soldiers) so why would they support them?

Why wouldn't they? ISIS and the KSA are theologically and ideologically one and the same, practicing the same form of extremism known as Wahabism which was identified by the European parliament in 2013 as the main source of global terror.

The only difference is the head of the state, the Kingdom cuts more heads and hands off than ISIS. Many in the KSA support ISIS out of ideological and theological belief, they have given Al Baghdadi their loyalty, or Bai'a in Arabic, and would love to see him as Caliph instead of the the current king they have.

How does this add up with the commonly circulated figure of 4m refugees?

I mean, in these arguments people often overlook that neighboring countries like Jordan or Lebanon have been receiving a lot of refugees, but it strains credulity to imagine that somehow SA got 2.5m out of these 4m and somehow did it under everyone's radar.

(Not that I'd wish for these poor people to end up in SA anyway)

"They all look the same to me, so they must support each other!" Really?! And the last part shows how you know nothing about SA.

Yeah because that's exactly what I said, never mind the actual wahabbi link between the two, did you even bother reading the articles or studies? Of course not, I don't even know why I bother. So many Wahabbi apologists... There wouldn't even be any ISIS or AlQuaeda without the theological and ideological basis for them which originates in Saudi Arabia and still holds ground there.

don't bother man,he is ignorant and uncivilized

Thank you for the compliment, I'm willing to bet that the KSA who cuts heads and hands off like it was nothing, who shares the same beliefs as ISIS, is the epitome of civility for you.

Except this is exactly what you said. Correct me if I'm wrong but your only evidence that SA supports ISIS is that you think they look alike.

you can't judge a whole country with the actions of a few

this goes for all sides.... There were good Hungarian citizens who provided food and supplies to those people who were rejected by the Hungarian government

I m not judging anyone only EU regulations why don't they let them apply from turkey or Saudi Arabia or Jordan or Lebanon for asylum in EU why force them to cross countries to get that

What? No it is because of the same ideological foundation the two entities share, second of all because of history where the KSA funded and armed Al Quaeda in Afghanistan, third because of all the talk about KSA confronting ISIS they have done nothing outside their borders to do so and have bashed the Iraqi militias for attacking ISIS strongholds.

If their ideology is deemed as a world source of terror by the EU, who am I to argue, but you didn't even bother to read any article I linked.

and it is only this time the whole world at fault.
if only we brought down Assad soon no Isis or Hezbollah will be in syria.

Or maybe we should stop messing with other countries, support only pacifist groups, and stop sending weapons to rebel groups that turn out to be a bigger evil that the one we were orignally fighting against.

1-can you tell me what are the ideological foundation the two entities share.

2- lol USA and Saudi Arabia and EU funded Al Qaeda against the soviet
so your logic fail.

3-fail again

we meddled with the Middle East long ago

all the present/past dictators and rulers there got into power via foreign help

It's interesting watching this dickwaving contest about how many Syrian refugees are being taken in - mostly from countries who are complicit in creating the refugee situation in Syria in the first place.

Look at how good we are, taking in refugees from that horrific war we're either funding or supporting.

The world, man. Things are so fucked up.

Saudi is a shit country, Israel is a shit country, Europe is shit, U.S is the devil.

let's just implode and hit the reset button.

We all suck as humans and we ruined this world for us and for all the next generations.

Sometimes I even contemplate what if the other side won WW2? Can we even be at a worse situation than now?
Well Israel wouldn't exist and most of the Jews would be ash. So if you're Jewish it would likely be a good deal worse

I don't think any country was going to risk their troops in an invasion of Syria, and the U.S. has used up all it's "put troops on foreign sovereign territory" tokens, besides the fact that it would have been embarrassing for the U.S., given the fact that the U.S. was treating him as an ally and having open friendly diplomatic relations with him. In the world of diplomacy, you try not to embarrass yourself.

The world used to be much much worse.

So, if I'm parsing your initial post correctly, you're telling me that:
A) they're better off in SA than Europe because of Hungary?
B) you're somehow associating me with these Hungarian reactions? Do we know each other or were you just whatabouting to defend SA's stellar human rights record?

A) yes there are better in KSA and they are welcome any time and it boggle my mind how those less than 250.000 want to be there.
B) the videos about refuges in EU .next time at least bother watching more than the first one.

Some people think encountering a couple of shitty nazis on the way to a better place is a better price to pay than living in a theocratic shit-hole that holds beheadings for apostasy, homosexuality and fucking witchcraft. Weird huh?

A. Well yeah, as long as they're religious men, I guess.
B. Or don't make oblique posts with a vague accusatory "you" and clearly state what you mean, ie that you believe Europeans are overall so unwelcoming that a hereditary theocracy that condemns journalists to lashings, holds public beheadings and cuts thieves' hands would be seen more welcoming.
I'm not sure refugees fleeing ISIS would be super on board with this program. They might even be willing to take a chance with our xenophobic shitheads.

Edit: yeah, what Buzzman said.

Don't backseat mod me, dude. If you're unhappy with the turn this conversation is taking, feel free to ask a mod to tell me to shut up or ban me, but you don't get to start an argument and then complain when it doesn't go your way.
I am discussing the 2.5m claim when I say it's surprising, if not doubtful, when I'm supposed to believe out of 4m refugees, 2.5 ended up in a place with one of the worst Human Rights record in the world. You took umbrage with that remark and decided to veer off the European xenophobia tangent. All I'm saying is that even accounting for the various xenophobic stances in Europe, I have a hard time imagining all these refugees would go to SA rather than Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey or yes, Eastern Europe.
SA's history with transparency doesn't help my disbelief.

Yeah, I'm very sceptical about this claim. Lots of Western media saying the opposite.

Western and Eastern Media outlets stating opposite things. Never seen that before..

Come one people try to be a little more open minded here, does information/news really need to be spoon fed all the time?

bring facts or bust
you are the one who is complaining yet you blabber around calling ksa a shit hole and
derailing the thread with no connection with what it have to do with the subject .
give it a rest we know you hate ksa can we stick to the subject please.
you can open a thread about ksa human record.

In other words, people are ignorant and prejudice and willing to make shit completely up to reinforce their hatred of a group of people.

KUDOS to Saudi Arabia for a giving a shit and proving people wrong.

They haven't proven anything though. They put out a PR statement with a dubious claim devoid of any evidence to counter the flak they were getting and they still haven't made an offer to take in any refugees.

If they truly gave a shit they would offer to take refugees, they would offer Palestinians citizenship, they wouldn't expel 160,000 Ethiopians, they would stop bombing and murdering Yemeni civilians etc. Saudi Arabia is one big shit stain on the pants of humanity.

Dude, you are 100% wrong. I'd suggest you to learn something about the region before posting something like that. Like a small but of history since '79. ME is a very complicated region.

ERMYGERD!
What a massive oversight by the humanitarian organisations of the world. Clearly this is the works of some racist and islamophobic agenda in play.

Either that, or, you know. SA is lying. Which given it's history and current state of affairs is a probability I consider higher than UNHCR slipping up and miscounting 2,5 million refugees from Syria.

regardless if it is true or not I don't see how the UNHCR would be able to count it since Saudi Arabia has a different migration policy and doesn't coin the word Refugee

What I do know is that they funded a ton of Camps in Jordan
apparently a 700 million dollar investment to these camps...
