Batman Arkham Knight PC re-release Oct. 28th

So stuff I already own and something for a game I don't play. Sweet.
It's downloading like 10GB on my end, not that.
I'm guessing it's due to the Season Pass.
So a bunch of games that I and pretty much everyone else already owns (and have been on the $1 tier in Humble Bundle), a new (?) DLC, and some TF2 shit.

The story is really good. They use B tier villains so it has the same vibe as the Legends of The Dark Knight comics.

The brass fucking balls on Warner. Relaunch at like full price, no Season Pass for existing owners. And a bunch of stuff we already have.
I don't say no to free content but the bolded is not surprising, they don't owe you or anyone else the season pass.
It is, though. Maybe not for WB but other publishers have given season passes to existing owners when the PC port turned out to be unmitigated garbage.
I'm glad I got a refund for Arkham Knight. Not repurchasing anytime soon.
Who ? Ubisoft did it because Unity was a catastrophe for everyone so they cancelled a part of their DLC plans and gave away one piece of it if I remember correctly.
I don't see how anyone can feel entitled to the free season pass, unless perhaps for those who were stuck with a copy they could not get a refund.
Would've been smarter if the copies were gift copies and that they didn't actually allow people who can still get them to buy AK to get all that shit until halfway into November.
The TF2 item probably won't be worth a lot then in that respect because you can still buy into it.
And most people probably already own/have played AA/AC bare minimum usually to buy in Arkham Knight at release day.

Don't forget that Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were also in a Humble Bundle (At the $1 tier, IIRC.)
Might as well, since they owed us a working game on release date.

Yeah, people who already owned this more than likely already owned Asylum/City/Origins. The DLC will likely be garbage and I haven't touched TF2 in years.
I wasn't expecting a free season pass (not that it would matter, I was dumb enough to preorder that too), but giving those who bought it while it was broken something like the console exclusive skins (primarily Adam West Batman) would have been a nice gesture. Instead they recently announced the console specific DLC, which was listed some places as only being exclusive till October 2015, are going to be exclusives indefinitely.
So basically this all is a big middle finger.

Source? On the Steam Forums some people asked the moderator, Laptop65, who told them he couldn't say for now and that it's going to be answered in a future announcement.

So no Arkham Origins season pass? It's the only Arkham related thing I don't own and I haven't played Cold, Cold Heart yet.
I also hope we can gift away the copies we already own. Anyway, it's definitely far less compensation than Ubisoft with Unity, they gave Far Cry 4 among others.
If I were Rocksteady's community manager, I would be telling you how much work and time was spent to prep DLC for the PC version, especially since we stopped making money off the PC version to even pay anyone to do it!
It is true, the final release does not boost performance beyond the September "interim" patch.
We don't know if other patches are to follow.
For what it's worth performance is certainly not "perfect" (understand : the game even on top-end systems can exhibit framerate issues) but it runs well on my system, albeit not with every Gameworks features turned on.
The game is not very scalable downwards so beefy PC recommended, the official GPU requirements are a joke. A 760 won't get you anywhere.
They owed us a working game on release. Maybe not a season pass but this shit is embarrassing.

They are still doing things with DLCs so wait until tomorrow, you should get all.
But all in all game is still broken if you have anything lower than GTX 970.

Bwahaha what a joke. Nobody should ever pre-order a WB game ever again, if you ever did before.
If people got the season pass already how would that be fair to them if people who didn't buy it get it for free. It would just make more problems and piss a lot of people off again unless they refunded people who purchased in full. But then there are those that didn't buy directly from STEAM.

Thanks for the reply, they seem to be releasing the DLC in regions rather than universally, as a few of the DLC pages tell me they don't have english language support, lol.
2xGTX780s in SLI here. Game played alright with the previous patch, but I had my hands full and thought I'd wait. Now I'll wait a while longer.
And that was probably their rationale. The fair thing to do would be to simply offer an assortment of a few games, let people pick the one they want, and be on their way.
