bush pants are ok, except they forfeited these to joggers which i'm not a big fan of. the guy pushed em up too making them essentially capris with stacks which looks ridiculous.

Apparently the Red Wing Iron Rangers are really good, too.
Red Wing Iron Rangers are nice. Keeps my feet warm and dry, but I don't know if it's great for walking in snowy and icy conditions. The soles on them are smooth.
You could resole them, though. I was thinking of doing this at some point, but my pair of IRs are still really new.

Got my Clarks DBs. I really like them. I was worried that breaking them in would tear my feet up. But so far no blisters after about a mile's worth of walking and they've softened up quite a bit. I mis-ordered and ended up with two pairs. Beeswax and Mustard. I was going to return the Mustard pair but I might just keep both.

Did some research and now I can explain myself better. What I want to do is to remove the knobs from a Commando/Vibram type sole, however I haven't found any information about it on the internet. Am I better off just resoling it or what?

In my continued search for a new cologne, Tom Ford's stuff is on my radar. Haven't had a chance to check it out in person yet, but I hear good things about it.
I don't really want to get something everyone's getting, but I'll jump on it if the scent is good.
They more closely resemble Red Wing Mocs. The tongue and side don't completely match, though, so it's definitely a different brand.

I've been trying to shop on a budget since the summer to reign in my expenses better and to save more money for school and other life stuff, but damn I'm having a hard time finding good pieces on the cheap. Living in Canada means shopping online is a pain right now with the exchange rate so decent looking deals turn out to be not so decent.

I love my iron rangers, but they're awful for walking on snow/ice. Because of that I'd recommend a different pair. You could also resole, but if you have that done by Red Wing it'll cost you a 100 bucks. Not worth it with new shoes imo.

Seems pretty good for winter. You also have the beckman which is basically the same shoe with a commando sole.
And then you have the classic moc, which I really like, but I'm not sure how the grip is on snow.

So after all the talk, I just ordered some Red Wing Heritage 9010. Happened to find a solid deal online. I hope it fits as I got a size 13 but there seems to be conflicting reports as to order a size down or not. I guess I will just wait and see and if I need to go down to a 12, I will.

Now I'd like to have something else then the same same Converse stuff I've been wearing when I'm not at the office and I sorta took a liking to black and white Nike shoes. What's the opinion (if any) on these shoes .
