Since Smash Bros Ballot is completely over, we just got few announcements two weeks ago from Nintendo Direct that Cloud and Migard finally make their appearance in the game, and we are going to have special presentation upcoming in December.

We just received unbelievable announcement that Cloud finally make his appearance in Smash Bros, along with Midgar and summon creatures.

It's more likely that we would able to obtain the materia during hectic battles with your friends in Midgar. Once you get your hand on materia, and you would able to summon famous Final Fantasy 7 summons to aid you in the battle. Those summons that are going to appear in Smash Bros: Ifrit, Ramuh, Odin, Leviathan and Bahamut Zero. It's unfortunate situation that Shiva mightn't make any appearance in the stage due to rating issues, I assumed.

It's more likely that this thread is going to be our last thread for Smash 4 Speculation. Please enjoy your ride much as you could!

Likely to be discussed in the December broadcast. I think they might do something like when they did the Mewtwo reveal last year and just show models of the winners and say they are in production.

They might also show a few Nintendo-based winners, and then save third party ones (if there are more) for a separate trailer like Cloud.

You're missing out, timed is the way to go for multiple friends at a time IMO, especially when there is a skill discrepancy.

Dream scenario would be Cloud + three more characters, all available after the broadcast. I'm not very interested in Final Fantasy, but judging by the trailer, both Cloud and his level look amazing, so I'm all in. Wouldn't mind one more brand new non-N64 level too, but that's probably not happening.

Wolf is a boring choice but it's probably happening. Give me Shovel Knight and Banjo-Kazooie too and we're okay.

Not sure what you mean by "why", Nintendo of Somewhere confirmed that they don't plan any further major announcements. As for ballot, it wasn't an election and Sakurai could have received partial results as soon as a week after its opening.

Yeah I have a feeling as well that this will be the last smash direct until Smash 5 is released. They can't keep adding onto the game forever. Better to have this direct and just announce everything coming to it.

From memory, there were a bunch of OTs for the games, for the first DLC, for the second one, and whatnot. Just sayan (what? 9000?).
