New Danganronpa V3 featured in Famitsu this week

I hope it releases relatively early in Japan so we have at least a lil chance of localization for 2016 :(

Probably not happening but I can dream.

Monokuma: "Ah, this is so fun! I wonder what kind of "killing game" it will be this time..."

Something along those lines, but keep in mind my Japanese sucks.

Doesn't seem like something he would say in chapter 3, also you would expect to be at a higher level by then.
So either there are a lot more but shorter chapters, or this is just some nonsense placeholder.

Hmm, I didn't notice that it was saying chapter 3 in the top right. Maybe the game is divided into different semesters, because it's even in it's title... but it's probably some random placeholder like you said.

Edit: Oh yeah the red font on the first image: "始動" is referring to activating/starting a machine.
My kanji knowledge is too bad to decipher and guess what the rest could mean. I am very bad at reading styilzed fonts and especially in that quality - lol.

Calling it now, the girl on the right doesn't make it out of Chapter 2 alive.
I'd laugh if the twist this time is that Spike DON'T kill off a character before the chapter they're pictured alive in during previews.

It took a full year for Ultra Despair Girls, so I don't see that happening no matter how early it releases unless Spike-Chun it letting NISA work on it earlier than before.

I don't think that's a good comparison. NISA localized both Danganronpa 1 and Danganronpa 2 the year that Danganronpa: Another Episode came out in Japan. DR2 literally came out around 3 weeks in NA before DR:AE was released in Japan. Now that the West has finally "caught up" to the Japanese releases, localization priority and scheduling could change.

If i'll have to wait an entire year for this game to be localised then i'm going to hurt something cute and innocent.

I think this game will be about Junko inner psyche or those screenshots are misleading and it'll feature everyone who survived 1, 2 and characters from Another Episode.

Maybe it would be a good idea for me to go on complete media blackout for this game.

I knew nothing about the characters for the first 2 and that only added to the mystery. Seeing as how I'm actually hyped, I'll be more sensitive to spoilers.

Though I am curious to see how they're going to handle the plot for this game. DR2 was basically: "remember everything that we did in the first game? Yeah, we're doing the complete opposite of that."

It's a nonsense placeholder. Recall how DR1's Japanese demo was intentionally really misleading.

I hope references to the previous game are kept at a minimum and I especially hope
Junko doesn't factor into the main narrative again

They better not take too long, Danganronpa 1&2 have done 200k in the west.
I'm hoping for a simultaneous development/localization, (or at least a very short turnaround) but that's may be a bit much to ask for.

Then again, this series sells very well in the west, so why not?
