Also I cant wait to hear that soundtrack fully blown out. They have done orchestrated performances of the big hitters but there is so much more to it.

Heck even the Crisis Core melody of FF7 music mixed with some Crisis Core stuff they did during the credits was dope.

I should try Crisis Core on a PC emulator.... that game isnt perfect and it meddles with the fiction a bit much but it was the least offensive thing to come out of the Compilation of FF7.

Really though the original approach was fine. What I'm interested in is if they will make things less vague or if it will be just as open to interpretation as the original. If I recall correctly, Nomura once said they didn't want to make any direct answer for whom Cloud would end up with. I'm sure the options will probably still be there.

I want the option to hang out with Red XIII at the Golden Saucer. lol

Really, the moments I am most looking forward to are actually those little, silly things. Cloud thrown into Junon by a dolphin. Cloud balleting on Gold Saucer's stage. The bear wearing a marshmallow...

Those are also the moments I dreaded the most would be cut out.

It'll probably be about the same level of detail as with Cloud being stabbed in ACC. They won't cut away, but it'll still be very sanitised.

That scene in ACC actually has blood splattering everywhere, ya? Aerith's doesn't even have one drop.

In the original AC, there's no blood when Sephiroth stabs Cloud, but there's tons of blood in Crisis core and Advent Children Complete. So yeah, i expect it to be gory and graphic with blood coming out of her mouth, and tears too

The choices have to be there, because Aerith meant a lot to Cloud, as Tifa also did. Regardless of what happened to Aerith and who he ultimately moves on with afterward -cough-, that fact of FF7 itself can't really change at all.

I guess they could technically make it so that its possible to have a close relationship with both the girls, cause that's how it technically ends up being anyway, but the "high affinity" romance angle will probably stay.

Yup.

The comedy or the lighthearted parts -- I like those. I don't want to change it that much. But we can't have these upgraded, beautiful 3D models of Cloud and Barrett, still lining up in a row, jumping forward to attack an enemy, then jumping back to wait for their next turn. That would be bizarre. Of course there will likely be changes there. But if we took away parts like the lighter moments of the game, then it would no longer be FFVII.

In a way, it's more easy to make them optional than ever. Fewer FMVs to exclude them from because they can optionally appear in real time cutscenes.

I don't see them dropping the other possible dates since Nomura made a point that they want to keep the humor.

I wouldn't mind seeing them play with the love mini game though yeah.

I wonder if they're going to adjust the scene where cloud is standing in the water lowering aerith, then next scene shows her falling deep into the water where cloud was standing.

I don't know it looked really good for me. Some scenes did feel rough buy some of the lighting were fantastic imo.

Nomura did say the visual quality will go up in the final version.
