OMFG YES!

There's another PS1 game I don't need to spend an arm and a leg for just to play!

Now give us Megaman Legends 2.

It's weird that it's a PSP game and not a PS1 Classic, but I'll take it

EDIT: Wait, I had no idea the game was re-released for the PSP

Wait, it's the PSP version? What did they change from the PS1 version?

Hell, from what I understand, the US never even got that port, though EU did, so guess they're using that?

Hell yes its about time!!!!

I was at a swap meet recently and refused to pay $50 for it. The physical retro market is insane right now. This is so much more preferable.

I would take a wild guess and say it's the PS1 version since it's playable on the PS3 and thus they can maximize sales.

edit: Wrong lol. Does anyone know the differences?

Is BFIV available too? I love this series and would love to finish it off.

BoF3 is an amazing game. The more people that play it the better. Not having to shell out a ton of cash for a copy will only lead to good things. Look at the resurgence that Suikoden II had once it hit PSN, for example.

Now to journey across the desert...again

I've played BoFIII several times, and it wasn't until my most recent replay about three years ago that I learned that there is a way to cross the desert AND get both pieces of equipment on a single trip. I highly recommend everyone look this up, even if it's your first time. All you'll miss out on is a ton of tedium.

Edit: Disappointed that this is the PSP version. It's going to look worse on the Vita.

From the blog:

"coming to PSN as a downloadable PSP game!"

"fully compatible with all hardware that plays digital PSP content – that means PSP, PS Vita, and PSTV are all supported."

Oh, so PSP version has the same translation as the PS1 version (so it most likely is just the EU version), added widescreen, new title logo, & expanded upon the fishing mini-game.

Now I just need to get around to playing BoF4 that I bought on sale for like a dollar or two.

I'll be playing this in my PSTV for sure. What a pleasant surprise. BoF 3 has one of the most charming adventures I've ever had in a JRPG. And it is able to be pretty serious at times as well. Music is fantastic as well.

I suppose I could give this another shot.

Oh, it's the PSP version? Strange.

So is this one of those PS1 to PSP games where they just stretched and blurred the 2D graphics?

What's different about it from the PS1 version? Did they fix the translation error in the desert quest? xD
It's widescreen. I think that error is fixed, yes. They also made it so battles don't then you in a random direction in the desert, making it easier to not get disoriented.

BoF II was best.

*Forever upset his save file got erased due to a glitchy copy he rented from the store so many years ago*

This is the best psx era rpg. Loved watching Ryu go from scared street trash to badass world savior. I've always wondered which team worked on this and why capcom didn't push them to the moon. There aren't many rpgs that can match the character development you see in this game.

Is BoF3 better than 4? BoF4 was my first BoF, but it bored the shit out of me. Didn't even care to finish it.
