Often good:
Humble, Indiegala, Bundlestars
Sometimes good:
Groupees
Rarely good:
The rest. There's a lot of them.
Groupees greenlight aren't bad if you like +1s. Their other bundles are just like betting. Can be complete shit to decent.

I don't know if I'd consider any bundle site truly good these days. Maybe that's because I've acquired so many products from them that they've lost their luster.

Groupees has lost a bit of shine, but still comes out with some amazing bundles every now and then (and not just limited to games - their synthwave bundles are awesome).

I find that I'm just not into HB as much as I used to be, and they've had plenty of crap bundles over the past year. I still can't shake the feeling that they've held off some games to put in their monthly package instead.

Indiegala is usually solid, even if I'm not always 100% into the games.

Bundlestars is probably the best. The Killer Bundle packs are some of the best value you can get for your money anywhere.

OK, a couple of questions about February releases:

XCOM2 - If I don't finish XCOM1 are there any major plot twists (other than good/bad ending) that I might want to look up or can I just finish that later at my leisure?

Disgaea - Is this game a lot like Fire Emblem Awakening or significantly different?

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
You know, a lot has been said during this campaign.

"This thread was first."

"This thread is better."

"This thread had Modbot stolen away from it like a thief in the night by a madman who abused the precious bit of authority given to him."

And they're right. But I'm here with you now not because of any of those inalienable truths, but because you're here, fighting the battles that must be fought -- the battles brought to our doors, the battles brought to us by people that say, "no, I know best and you will submit (reply)." We're here in this thread now because we know that power is given by the people. The regular people. The get-up-every-morning-and-go-to-work-and-still-have-time-to-post-an-anime-gif people.

When we started this thread, we knew we were fighting a machine. A machine that shows up late with an OP that could have been done a week in advance, but a machine none-the-less. We started this because we knew that threads require more than just typos in header images: they need heart.

You are the heart.

When I look out at all of you, I see people who know we can do more and be more. I see people who want change. I see a few people who are uncomfortably intimate with drawings of females whose age we've all agreed not to think about too deeply.

So whatever happens here, just know: you did it. You made the difference. And so long as you keep fighting, I'll fight with you.

Thank you, and Gabe bless the Steam thread.

Morningbus convinced me. This is the one true thread.

Glory to Morningbus. Glory to Arstotzka!

Nope, not nessecary. XCOM 2 takes place in a world where you've lost your campaign like a scrub.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Just woke up. There's another thread?

This is getting weird guys

They're fairly similar since they're srpgs, but there's no marriage mechanic or anything. No character customization or permadeath either. The story's really good too.

They'll get merged either way once stump wakes up.

Which is kinda interesting when you think about it, because I believe merged threads are done based on the posting timestamps. So if this thread gets merged with the other, the Morningbus OP will be the first post and MRORANGE's OP will be on like page 8.

I always blieved in the oranges :D
Edit: And apparently I'm a lurker

Modbot's rules are "this thread or the previous one". In this case, it means this thread or the Morningbus thread.

But the combat and level up mechanic is similar? Your team moves around on the grid and then the other team? The game progresses from fight to fight with some story in between?

So, the previous thread is not the January one but the imposter one? :p

You are the heart.

Either we heal as a team, or we're gonna crumble. Game by game, play by play. We're in hell now, believe me. We can stay here and get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light.

One GabeN at a time.

Now, I can't do it for you. I'm too old. I look around, I see these young faces and I think, I bought every wrong game imagined. I pissed away all my money, believe it or not. I chased off anyone who ever loved me, and now when I look in my account, I can't even stand the games I see.

You know, when you get a Steam account, things get taken from you. But you only learn that once you start losing. You find out that life is gained in games.

In either game, life or Steam, the margin for error is so small. One removed DLC too late and you don't make it, one game released too early, the games we need are everywhere around us.

On this team, we fight for that game. We tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that game. We claw with our fingernails for that game. We know when we add up all those games, that's going to make the difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!

I know, if I'm going to have any life in me, it's because I know that I'm willing to fight for that game, and this thread.

Now, we fight as a team, or we will die.

Now, what are you gonna do?

Maybe it's just copy & paste leftover. Seems to be related tracking so it could very well be from "common" code.
Think positive!

Too much manual work to be done in a merger it seems. Stump riding this storm out confirmed.

Well I hope stump changes the format on the morningbus OT's title at least, because that's my biggest problem with his thread.

Yo you didn't read my recommendation in the OP did you? Always read the OP people!
