The lips are so hard to get right, though. Tried the same position as in the picture you provided, but it was messing up and her teeth turned black when she smiled for some reason, haha. I settled for a slightly less intense position. Let me know what you think!

Oh thanks! It's a bit easier for me to approximate people with very distinctive features (like hers.) More subtle/normal appearances are harder.

The more you use the tools, the faster a lot of things become less trial and error and more second nature. As of now, I've done like 15 characters that I've saved.

I have my own reasons. It isn't an overly complicated design, and because of that one could say it shouldn't be too hard to make one similar to it.

The hairstyle is not default actually, I shaped it just as I did everything else.

It's not seeing someone else with it that bothers me, it's that this is what I made for myself, and it seems odd to me personally to just give that to someone when I made it for my own personal use.

Your comment "fuck up as all hell" seems unnecessary. I'm not going to stay here and argue with you about me not wanting to upload a digital character file.

What most people usually want from your character file is a base from which they can branch off.

I say "Fucked up as all hell" because, if you were to say, "No, I don't wish to share it", I'd not agree with it, but mentioning that you "Worked pretty hard on it" as if that was the reason, that makes absolutely no sense to me.

As stated earlier, if I learn how to make something, and it was difficult, sharing it would not generally affect me in any negative way, but it would positively affect others.

Alright it is time to settle this once and for all! So I decided to take a go at it and I must say the hair and eyes were quite difficult and even then they are not the same as what Deviruki has managed to get. Though I have my game set to vibrant colors, so maybe thats the reason I cant get the colors the same. Here is the link to my attempt. I wont keep it up for a long time as even though it isn't like Deviruki's he still wants his to be unique. Anywho, here is an image for comparison.

EDIT: I seem to forget often just how difficult these kinds of things are to modify/create; I'll be uploading the file in case anyone wants to use it as a base--I might try to make a few others as well.

Make sure you toy with rotation as well as translation.
I never even noticed the rotation tool till CB1 was over...

Some styles cannot be manipulated except for length. Others that have longer pieces have more parameters that can move those pieces back and forth or curl them forward/back/up/down. When you move the cursor over one of the nodes surrounding the hair and a section of hair lights up in green, chances are you can rotate it like that, but again not all styles have the option.

Edit: And thanks, Spazznid... rotation can be really handy, it seems. It also enables some really silly stuff too, I have found after toying with it more.

Super impressed with the work being done here! Especially how well people are managing the eyes, I find the eye ... joints? to be the most difficult to maneuver. Also, they really need more base hair options!

It doesn't work anymore anyway. I had it installed still, and went to do some customization after the last beta. It had some message on the launcher saying the offering had ended or something.
