After this, there absolutely needs to be an official kickstarter thread that details how shady they've been. Can't believe that they would post that bullshit, and then remove the pics after they're caught. People need to be warned to ensure their kickstarter fails and these shady mother fuckers don't take anyone's money.

This has turned into a true farce now. I hope they keep their buffoonery up for a while longer as it has become so very entertaining.

Not even worried about people losing any money on this, the kickstarter has little chance of launching. And even if it does there will be an army of people clanging the warning bells to protect people from it.

That's it. They're truly done. Everything up to this point had some shred of plausibility under the guise of "We can make this real as long as we get the funding." Even the "SNES back half in a Jaguar" was barely believable, if not simply to get them to a point of Proof of concept, which is a step below prototype.

They were claiming grandiose things without a shred of concrete evidence. But this? This is straight up fraud. Straight. Up. Fraud. There's literally no excuse for trying to pass off jamming a fake cart on top of a useless PCI card. They're hucksters. That's it.

But what's worse is who they are trying to fool. Every person that gives a shit about this is educated and knows if you're trying to grift them. Didn't they figure they'd get caught if they pulled shit like this? Or did they figure that it'd take long enough that they'd make off with the Kickstarter money before anyone noticed?

The idea that they were legit or wishful about this is long gone. This is now at a point of being criminal. They are committing fraud now.

I can't forgive Mike. They keep digging this hole.

The upside is that he won't be able to rip off anyone anymore since it'll clearly be a scam. There's no question to that anymore. And that's GOOD. It will be impossible to get money now.

On the plus side, it's highly likely they're going to keep up this charade, so we can all laugh and enjoy to see how deep the hole goes.

which didnt make sense to me, becoz Mike K is a member of retro gaming roundup? why would an organization that he's a part of be talking smack about his own product? but I havent actually listened to the show in a while...

then I went to the website and he's no longer listed as a host of the show!

was there old drama? how long hasnt Mike been on the podcast??

it's real sad tbh, I like Mike, he always seemed like a cool guy at local retro events.

Ahhh, that's sad. I used to listen to that massive podcast when I had a job that allowed me to listen while working.

It's sad that SoCal Mike has quit and became so shady.

No, the seeds were sown before that. I wasn't a regular listener but look for the "Surf Dogs" episode. Mike was supposed to be on the podcast but he ditched them to go watch some event training dogs how to surf. I believe that was the end of Mike but they let him come on for the RVGS special episode before the IndieGoGo.

There is bad blood between Scott and Mike. It's really shitty on Mike. Scott invested in Mike's console business by throwing money at GameGavel. Mike assured Scott he had an interest in the console business. Then just a few days before the IndieGoGo launch, Mike creates a different company to operate the console under, thereby cutting out Scott. Welp, I guess that part doesn't really matter in the end anyways because this meltdown happened, right?
