The Legend of Zelda will be the only playable game Nintendo has E3 this year

They legitimately have no idea how to run a company, I'm 100% convinced of this now.

THEY ARE A COMPANY THAT WORKS IN A CONSUMER INDUSTRY AND YET THEY DON'T LET PEOPLE SEE OR USE THEIR PRODUCTS AT THE BIGGEST MARKETING AVENUE AVAILABLE TO THEM.

I do. Not. Get it.

They make their own event.

The fuck... Surely they'd bring along Paper Mario and 'Metroid' at the very least? Or the new Pokemon games?

What about 3DS?!?!

I don't believe this news.

Oh, title edited...

Only Wii U game makes more sense, but that leaves Paper Mario out in the cold and largely kills the hope of a substantial surprise announcement for Holiday 2016.

Nintendo is giving up because they know President Trump will turn the planet into irradiated slag

All of their money is going into building an underground fortress

Yeah l've stopped trying to understand Nintendo. Mindboggling company all around.

"Introducing The Legend of Zelda for Wii U

...but actually, please buy the NX version that we won't be showing you today....k bye!"

Holy shit, lol. This is obviously because they're not ready to show any NX games, but surely there's something else for the Wii U or 3DS they can bring to the show?!

Only Wii U game. I suppose that's better? I mean it speaks volumes of the situation the Wii U's in.

Edit: Nintendoomed

Nintendo changes its approach to the show every year. This June, Nintendo will focus its attentions on the upcoming game in The Legend of Zelda series. The Wii U version of the game will be playable for the first time on the E3 show floor, and it will be the only playable game Nintendo presents at the show, in order to provide attendees a complete immersion. Additional information about Nintendo’s E3 plans will be announced in the future.

So does that mean no 3DS games eiher?

This can't be true, because there HAS to be at least ONE new game announcement at E3. This seems like a "for now" thing.

Three booths for one game? That doesn't seem right.
