Yeah, them saying that it is built around a new concept is saddening. Seems like they're only chasing gimmicks now. Hope this one works out for em cause they still make great games.

I never got the "I like this company so this company must be worshiped" thing. THey are not your friend. ANd Steam worship itself is scary as fuck.

I love marvel and dc, but they ain't going to help me move or put something on my rent. Me and Gordon are friends and I would never help him move.

I don't understand why Nintendo is bothering with E3. If they were showing the NX version of Zelda, sure, but the Wii U version that is basically just a promise to Wii U fans that supported them?

E3 is more than the show floor. It's also where companies meet behind closed doors or at hotels or go out to dinner together and sign deals, purchase lots, buy in to games, etc. Like people don't think about it much but games can live or die on if Gamestop and Wal Mart and Target and Best Buy want to carry them, all the big box stores have a sort of concept approval on any game that comes out at retail. And it's one of the times all the execs are all together.

So while Nintendo may only have Zelda on the floor for the press they'll definitely be showing NX and talking contracts, retail buy ins, etc behind closed doors somewhere with publishers and retailers.

Wait, was there another? Because I remember Rachel Roy's name popped up after the thrashing. I watched that video the other day, in awe at her hands. I bet you he put some respeck on her name, her visiting. He probably just goes out for a long walk when she comes over.

People were speculating that for a minute. As andthebeatgoeson just mentioned, Rachel Roy came up back then in the gossip blogs/sites. But because everyone was quiet outside of Beyonce on the remix to Flawless, there was nothing to go on.

Makes sense from that perspective. Can't have Target and Bestbuy treating Nintendo like Birdman going "Seeya later nigga".

Sike, that's not gonna happen again. So november vs march. Eh. We should have expected some distinct change from Nintendo. When have they hit all the marks like they were 'supposed' to? Name one year, over the past 20 years when that was done. '87?

It's actually funny how this is a repeat of Twilight Princess. Announced early, delayed a lot, had an E3 dedicated to it to the point the Nintendo booth was practically "Twilight Princess: The Ride", then it was delayed past the next E3 so that it could be released for the Wii at the same time.

I actually forgot about that. Man, those delays are patented. Yeah, they dropped the trailer, had the whole internet on lock, then it took some time.

Damn, just some quick googling: 2004 E3, then launched Nov 2006. So, 2005 was, nothing? Just the wait year? Then 2006 was the blowout with the Wii controls, etc.

So, don't be so surprised if NX is fall of 2017? Might as well write that out and get used to it. With no upgrades from where it is right now. Maybe surpassed by PS4neo? That would be a proper L from Nintendo. Delayed due to the games not being ready, not a ton of content, allowed to be leap frogged by Sony. What seemed like an opportunity will be wasted. Everyone excited about this Holiday will move on and it won't have the same impact.

I'm already onto PC anyway, so it has less impact but it's fun seeing the 3 bigs fuck up the console upgrade cycle. Nothing says fuckery quite like ignoring what elements got you to a place.

I dont know how to get in though.

And my interests are kind of in illustration so a lot of times you end up as your own pr. But trust me, thoughts were had.

Yep, it gets the most replays out of any of the black shows. Fresh Prince still comes on frequently, but I can't remember what channel. I think that article is being nice about Friends, How I Met Your Mother, and Sex and the City. I always found all of those shows to be unfunny. I ain't with ya on Seinfield.

Out of the black sitcoms Netflix only has A Different World and The Bernie Mac Show. It would be nice if we could get some of the others you mentioned. I don't think I've seen Amen in a while while.

Lisa Bonet was a downer in Different World? I never got to watch her that season because I too young. That show came on during a time when I didn't know what the fuck an HBCU even was and I had a crush on Dwayne.
