Well folks now that is finally 10 euro I have bought it and you should probably do so as well in prep work for Persona 5 when it releases in the EU in spring 2018.

/Pay me €10 if old.

£7 on the UK store tonight.

I realise I'm screaming into the void saying this as most of GAF has it already, but if any of you don't have it already, you absolutely have no excuse now if you don't already own it. Do it.

Everyone who hasn't played this yet should buy it. Actually, just buy it, no matter the price. The game is just that good.

Best Vita JRPG and one of my favourite games ever.

I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for an atypical RPG in modern day setting with a compelling story, setting and cast.

If you are on the fence about buying this game, get the hell off it now and buy it.

I almost didn't pick it up as on paper it didn't sound like something I'd enjoy, time limits? long cut scenes? 4th in a series I've never touched before?

Went and picked it up despite all this (friends kept going on about it) and was easily my game of the year, and quite possibly decade. It's got so many nice gameplay mechanics which meld so well together, it's one of the few games that I can simply pick up and play and enjoy no matter what i'm in the mood for.

TLDR; BUY IT

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
Finally some good Persona news for Europe.

I finished the PS2 version but i don't have a Vita... would buy again if they port it to PS4 someday.

Just dived in. For £6.99 it would be rude not to.

Looking forward to Mondays 3 hour train journey to London now

Best 75 hours I have spent in quiet a while. Even the recent Witcher 3 and DAI which took me 80-100 hours each, didn't fill me with as much emotions as this game has.

buy this people. It's rarely on sale (like twice a year ?) and never got this cheap.

best vita game, best JRPG ever, great characters, great story, has a super easy mode to avoid grind.

Just bought P3P, but this game was selling for $30. so I went with Valkyria Chronicles 2 for $5 instead.

Man, I hope it goes on sale again soon.

This is the first Persona game I played, I loved it (though I hadn't had the chance to finish it because I had issues with my Vita).

I wanted more of Persona goodies, so I bought P3 (Classic PS2 on PS3) but didn't like it as much as P4G.

Still, it's this game that hypes me up for Persona 5.

One of the few games that is worth full price, even years after launch.

I cannot stress how much you should all play this that haven't.

I wish I could play it on PS3 or PS4.

For a second I thought it was playable on PS3 and was pissed I bought standard P4 (even though I fell in love with the game) but now after getting halfway through I kind want to play all the Golden content and now I'm bummed again.

Golden adds content that kind of takes away from P4 vanilla, actually. It adds refinements to gameplay, but I prefer P4 vanilla's story more.

Yeah, we're just parroting this at some point, but if you have a Vita and not this game, you're screwing up badly. If you don't, but you have some way of playing PS2 games, start playing the original release immediately. Even if you think you hate all turn-based RPGs or anything that looks "anime," there's still a good chance this might become one of your favorite games of all time. Just be warned that the intro is pretty long.

This can't be said enough. When I played Persona 4, I wasn't an anime fan at all. In fact, my impression of anime was mostly negative (because of the crap my housemate used to watch).

As for the turn-based part, the battles are very quick-paced with lots of positive reinforcement. Battles can be avoided, and the game is not grindy if you take advantage of every system the game allows you to use. If that's not enough, the game has a Very Easy difficulty setting that pretty much eliminates the risk of a Game Over.

At this price, anyone should give it a try. It's a very small investment that can potentially pay off in enormous ways.

Let's just say that back in November I only bought this game because I thought that 10 dollars was a reasonable gamble for a beloved Vita exclusive I didn't care much about.

It's now on my top 3 games of all time.

A definite contender for GOAT in my books - if you own a Vita or PS TV and haven't played this, you are certifiably insane.

Jump on it !

The last traditional offline RPG I played was Final Fantasy VII. Is it anything like that?

From the five hours of FF7 I played, I'd say it is radically different. P4G is more focused on character interaction than FF7 is, and the gameplay's not as combat-oriented, the main meat of the game is how you spend your time daily (the game takes place in a full year and most days you can choose to hang out, work, visit somewhere, etc.)
That said, it's incredibly accessible and approachable, and there isn't even that much grind. The best cast of characters I've ever seen.

Looks like this is a permanent price drop as I am not seeing it in any of the sales or specifying when the price date will end.

If that is so I may wait for it to go on special.

The Amiga Brotherhood
Why would it be?

A VITA LEGACY.

Buy a PS TV.

Try to understand, almost all the third party games of the "must have" PS4 are or will be sooner or later also on one or more between PS3, Vita, XB1, PC, and even WIIU, how dares the "worthless" vita having third party exclusive games? Especially considering that some vita developers prefer to port their vita games on pc instead of ps4.
