I'd have no problem admitting if I did, but I didn't. Got the idea originally from a gamefaqs topic. Heck I'd like to take credit for it if I could. I've never even played TLoU so I wouldn't know anyway.

Because the gamefaqs topic that I took it from did the exact same thing in the OP, only people caught on and played along without being told, and the thread was all the more hilarious for it.

If there were an L to take in that regard, I'm telling you I'd have no problem taking it lol.

Because after 2 minutes there were 10+ comments with people not playing along so I decided it'd be better to add that in sooner rather than later.

The thread was posted on the Current Events board, which doesn't archive old threads. I tried looking on lurkerfaqs (which does more to save old posts than the regular gamefaqs site), but there's a gaping hole in between April 2014 and November 2014 where the threads weren't archived even there for some reason. http://lurkerfaqs.com/boards/400-current-events/?page=2015

What? This was a 4chan /v/ thread posted daily long, long before OP ever posted this. It had already become an internet-wide meme by the time this thread arrived.

The fact that GAF didn't recognise the meme surprised me.

If you did, you'd recognise that this is where this forum game started, long before this thread. It's extremely unlikely that the OP just happened to make a mistake that happened to be a well known /v/ game.
