Oh fuck me

Currently 6 on Dusk, 2 on WAMD and Magnum

I want to eject Magnum without a lynch, so I'm sticking on WAMD. I'd make a case for her lynch but you all know it by now

I know I voted for dusk last day phase, but I am not really feeling his Lynch today. I would rather vote for someone felt more scummy to me.

Vote:wherearemahdragonz

Voting for a neutral Lynch at this time seems too much like a move that scum would make, mainly because it's a "safe" move. While I do have my suspicions on el topo, WAMD is the one who has more of a scum leaning right now.

Interesting how Dusk has so many votes. Scum are pushing it along, sure, but he has given out a lot of information but no one has vouched for him. At all. Up to 8 unique bidders and two item holders yet Dusk is the only one telling us stuff.

With 18 left in the game, 8 bidders doesn't strongly suggest mafia is participating in the vote.

Kark Is this what you wanted

That's not a role claim

Kark v Sawneeks - This was an interesting spat as they were probably my 2 top town at the start. Kark remains a strong ish town read, Sawneeks I'm a little less sure of, I had problems with a couple of her arguments (that I don't think she responded to), but overall she remains a light town read. Her defense of Dusk aside I've agreed with most things she said. Yesterday I had a slight feeling that she was just agreeing with me a lot, but for now I put that down to paranoia.

I might have missed them if you had some questions about my arguments.

Unless you're talking about the whole 'staying quiet keeps you safe' thing. If that was it then it's my turn to say I was being a bit facetious.

Let’s see what kicked this whole things off:

“Second Son is a scum-tell”

It is, everyone knows the best game is Infamous 2.

Also worth mentioning that, around this same time Sawneek brought up my comment on there being four contestants and how that was comparable to Dragonz later slip up of knowing specifically the number of contestants. Looking back on this it has struck me as a way to stir up some additional heat (assuming El Topo got any traction) and bring the topic that was forming away from Dragonz.

Kawl talks some sense into her:

and she seemed to back down:

Dragonz also finally replied to me about why she felt off. Giving off what seemed like a cry for sympathy and a promise to be more engaged tomorrow (D2).

El Topo popped in just before D1 ended to not really comment on either Blarg or Dragon’s impending lynch and vote me.

D2 starts and Sawneek was quick to jump back on me while making sure to throw a little shade on El Topo a few times. Her basic argument as has Dragons has been to call me vague on everything. Sawneek for what it is worth, has been responding and at least giving some insights for criticisms of me. On the other hand, her attempts to turn the conversation away from Dragonz and this exchange between the two:

My response to Kawl was a joke.

99% of the time everything I say to Kawl is a joke unless I call him garbage, then I'm being 100% serious.

spoilers: it's all a joke

As for Dragonz all I can really say is I didn't know how to respond to her comment. It was a deflect and a hand-wavey joking response that just abruptly brought an end to that conversation.

Now it's my turn, Melon. I've noticed that you are starting to ignore most questions being thrown directly at you and are just moving on instead. Whether that is intentional or not doesn't matter but it does leave me feeling scum vibes about you.

-Stanley Palmtree

has mainly avoided commenting on this game except for the occasional post here or there to give his opinions on the major events. Made a point to say that we shouldn't just target active players, and that we should focus more on some of the less actives. However contrarily, he hasn't actually offered up any suggestions for scum, and only places votes on high activity players.

-nin1000

has tried to discourage what he feels are bad lynches. Not much activity other than that.

-Sawneeks

probably the widest range of scum accusations. She has changed stances on several players, showing she is open to hearing other perspectives of issues.

-OceanicAir

Shown most suspicion towards players guilty of tunnelling or drive-by voting. He did advocate for policy lynching Blarg early, but later decided that it would be a waste of a vote.

-Kyanrute

opened with a soft town claim. Fairly active D1, but mostly silent since. A few activity prods, and a few summary posts. Not many scum accusations, and has already admitted than none of his votes so far were placed on players he thinks are scummy.

-Kalor

has been very analytical, and tried to avoid jumping on bandwagons. Kalor has several times offered up the hidden motives behind other players posts.

-Starsketch

has mainly stuck to voting for bandwagons. Cautioned us not to target melon. Gave circular reasoning when questioned on it.

-melonrabbit

probably one of our most active posters so far. Has garnered minor heat, I don't know that any of the votes against her were more than gut reads though.

---

It's still D2 so there is not much to work with.

Stanley, Kyanrute, and Nin are the scummiest from this lot.

Something is off about Starsketch too.

No, but "even if I lose I want you guys to" sounds like a soft claim. After all, if he's town, he'd still win wven if he dies, no?

It's still a stretch to call that a roleclaim compared to what he said this day. I forgot why we're even arguing this.

The important bit is that letting a neutral live is trouble. At worst, it's mafia claiming neutral. A little less worse, it's a neutral who WILL work against Town in unpredictable ways. Players sticking up for other players like this is really troubling.

vote: Wherearemahdragonz

WAMD vs *Splinter has turned into a huge distraction, and I think it's allowing players to contribute w/o worrying about saying anything too controversial.

I've said this before but I think *Splinter's initial reaction to her flub was a huge stretch. Especially seeing as he made the exact same mistake a page or so later. However her attempts to try to explain away her mistake have actually made her look more scummy, not less.

If this isn't resolved today it's going to turn into a huge talking point again tomorrow. As scum isn't stupid enough to off one of these two in the middle of the night.

I don't know who to vote for. Scum would obviously want to focus on the Magnum lynch since that protects one of them for the day and I don't know if Dusk is scum, especially with the increase in votes he's gotten today. I'll put a vote on Dragonz for now. I said yesterday that their slip isn't necessarily indicative of them being scum but I don't know who else to vote for.

Vote: WhereAreMahDragonz

'I don't want to vote Magnum because it can be perceived as safe'

'I don't want to vote dusk because it would be a bandwagon now and I already bandwagoned Blarg on Day 1'

buuut I could be wrong.

But this makes me feel even worse about a Dragonz lynch despite my scum read on her.

hm.

I still don't trust Melon either but I feel like I need to go back and reevaluate my stance on her. It's just a gut feeling but I'm not trusting my own read on her and I would rather reread than place my vote there just yet.

I do love Infamous 2. But Delsin is superior to Cole so yeah.

I have responded to you, Dragonz, and El Topo throughout the day. If there are questions I've missed I will be glad to answer them.

Splinter, question. Why are you defending the neutral? I know theoretically we can leave him alone, but Dusk is currently the one with most votes.
Because I think it's in our best interest not to waste a lynch on him. As I said before, I'm not doing this to help Magnum, I couldn't care less if he wins or loses.

We're here to find scum, neutrals are a distraction

At this point I'm looking at anyone who doesn't believe I'm scum. Because when I flip, you were right about them being "on the right side of history.". With the exception of Melonrabbit, because she's still fishy and voted for me, but I've been expanding my horizons and will be looking at LP, kark, and OA later. I can't remember who else vouched for me.

And then votes on Magnum instead.

Yeeaaahhh I'll go with my gut on this one

Vote: WhereAreMahDragonz

Dusk, you realize that you're ahead on votes by a good margin right? Are you hoping for a last minute surge or what? What do you think about the people that are voting for you? Anything else you want to say about the Xbox?

No lies detected. Cole is a cardboard box with electric powers.

Also there are a couple, not just ones from me:

Why is this whole WAMD/Splinter thing escaping everyone's notice? Fellow scum conveniently ignoring them and pursuing other threads?

WAMD's slip is out there for everyone to see; does no one else think it's suspicious? What about the people who voted for WAMD yesterday?

Only Splinter has voted for WAMD today.

Conversely, what about the people who voted for Splinter yesterday? Thoughts on him?

It was for you and Kyan.

You never responded so I brought it up again but you never responded there either:

I actually want to hear from those people as well.

Kyan, Melon, why the Splinter vote yesterday? Similarly, have your opinions on him changed between now and then?

And then some from our argument towards the start of this Day phase you never replied to.

What makes you feel like Star isn't Scum? She has one of lower post counts in this game but I'm curious to know why she strikes you as 'not scum'.

Seeing as Dragonz wasn't lynched yesterday and she is your top scum read what do you think of those who voted for Blarg instead? Think we have scum there other than Dragonz?

Might have missed some but I believe those were it.

I explained why I voted Splinter D1. I wanted to see reactions including his. I pegged him to be town because on his reaction and the back and forth felt genuine. At present, I am still leaning for him to be town although I disagree with him on a few points. Specifically, this plan to aid Mags.

Star hasn't posted too much but what she has has been consistent with her usual self. I can only based this off on playing with her in DP where she garnered a lot of heat for her more passive play style. That's why, so far, I'm inclined to believe she is mostly likely town.

As for the Blarg vote,

Other than yourself and Dusk no one else had struck me as scummy. I will need review Kalor as right now I'm null there. In general, though I don't think that scum would all jump into the same vote. I think they likely spread themselves more evenly hoping to blend in. In the case of El Topo I'd say the opposite of that happened.

Oh, that reminds me. The start of the next Day Phase is when classes start for me so, if I'm still in the game, I'm not going to be around a whole lot. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are crazy for me but I'll squeeze in time where and when I can. Just expect a significant drop in activity from me. :c

Thank you.

I'm still going to go over everything from this Day and Day 1 but my gut keeps saying you're Town even though my thoughts say otherwise. We'll see where it goes. :x

I'm a bit worried how quickly people suddenly piled on Dusk. 3-2 (Dusk vs. Magnum) until three posts in a row had a vote cast against him to make it 6-2.

Ynnek7

My vote on Dusk is less that I think he's scum, but more that I want to see if he truly has the x-box.

He made no mention of bidding on Day 1 that I can recall, and then at the start of Day 2 decided that it was a good time to claim.

I do think that he may be talking with someone through the xbox, but I'm thinking it's more likely that he was the target of its power.

El Topo

Member
So you don't really think he has the item and you don't really think he's scum, but you want to lynch him...to see if he has the X-Box? What? Don't get me wrong, Dusk is a perfectly reasonable target, but that explanation is wack.

Made it in time. Was distracted by a lure.

Dusk is a good vote for scum, but is also useful for town. He's been in the conversation pretty much all day since he claimed to win the Xbox, so there's lot of information there.

Magnum needs to be voted out eventually.

WAMD, well I still think her death and flip would only resolve the Splinter situation, and even then it's dicey. When you go at someone all game, one flip won't tell you much.

The contestants looked around at Dusk at his outrageous claim. He had given his Xbox away to someone?! Or part of it anyhow. Why would anyone do that? To avoid paying taxes on it? But it wasn't a car after all!

Just like before, as everyone had reached a census, Cabot had jumped up in his seat, springing for security!

Just like before, the security came down in a pack.

"Hmm... this one now? Are you sure...?" spoke the male guard, as the majority of hands in the room went pointing at Dusk Soldier.

"They're wrong.... but whatever, I accept my fate." replied back from Dusk, as he was slowly and calmly escorted out of the building by two of the three security guards.

The remaining guard looked back at Cabot and, with a glare, said to him "Alcohol isn't allowed on the building, son. You're going to have to come with me."

"Eh? It's just water ma-" but before Cabot could finish the security had grabbed him by arms and was now dragging the man out of the building.

"THIS IS A MISTAAAAAKE I TELL YOU!" could be heard as the muscular man dragged the drunkard kicking and screaming out the door.

And with that... another contestant had been removed.

...

.....

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Lone Prodigy returned from the bathroom.

"Oh hey guys, what did I miss?"

Several dirty looks were given back at him...

Dusk Soldier, the Town Mason starter, has been removed from the building.

Here it comes!!!!

From the Bob Barker Studio at CBS in Hollywood, it's The Price is Right Mafia~!

Dusk Soldier come on down!!!

You are an ordinary contestant on The Price Is Right.

This means you are aligned with the Town.

You may vote during the day phase on who should be removed by the Security Guards from the building.

Be on the lookout for items won that could grant you a special power!

You win when anyone else who might disrupt the show has been removed from the building.

And now, here's your host: DREW CAAAAAREEY~!!!!

Dusk Soldier had the following items in his possession.

Congratulations, you have won an Xbox video game console! This item confers upon you the power of a Mason.

During any night phase, you may chose to create a private chat with another player by submitting the command Talk: <player> to the moderator in PM. Starting from the following day phase, you will have a private conversation with this player as long as you or them remain in the game.

Alternatively, you may chose to hand both controllers off to another pair of players by submitting the command Pass: <player1>, <player2> to the moderator in PM. This will start a private conversation between the two players as long as they remain in the game. No knowledge of your presence will be revealed to the selected players, and you will not join the conversation yourself.

Up on stage, the contestant lost his pricing game, and slowly returned to the seat.

Drew Carey looked back up at the cameras, now unfazed at the nonsense that was going on below him.

"George, can we get another prize, please?"

From above, George Grey responded with his cheerful demanor.

"You betcha, Drew!

Here we have an outdoor patio set with a grill perfect for barbecue!

Enjoy a summer afternoon out with this four piece outdoor patio set from Outsunny! Featuring a double seated sofa, two single seats, and an outdoor coffee table!

And as afternoon turns to evening, grill you and your family dinner on this two-burner gas grill by Char-Broil!"

Night 2 will end in:

Effective immediately, SalvaPot will be replacing WhereAreMahDragonz

Night actions are locked in 40 minutes.

Oh dear, that's 4 players now

Luckily mini has been going pretty slow, so it's not that unmanageable, and 1 day phases is making the game go quickly in that regard
