Is the exact time of demolition known or is it random? Cause if it is a set time then i can imagine alot of house campers..
They're saying some houses might be demolished during maint so might want to log in as soon as the servers are up just to check.

For players that have not accessed housing during the suspension period.
The auto-demolition timer will resume from the time remaining as of Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 3:00 a.m. (PDT).
Please be advised that the timer will resume immediately after patch data is made available during the scheduled maintenance for patch 3.4. Because of this, there is a possibility the auto-demolition timer may expire for certain estates before maintenance has ended. For those players whose estate will be prepared for auto-demolition within ten days of the scheduled maintenance, an e-mail notification will be delivered to the e-mail address registered to their Square Enix account. We strongly suggest those players log in and access their housing before the scheduled maintenance for patch 3.4.

Okay, so there's no migration, the game is just in a between expansion lull. I suppose that means I picked a decent time to take a break. With any luck I'll be able to return this month. Though if I do I likely won't be able to devote all THAT much time per week to playing. Since I'm still writing and will be taking some classes and such.

Is doing the daily roulette still the most time efficient means of capping tomes? That was getting a bit old by the time I left, unfortunately. I mean, I'd usually get the same dungeon over and over on the expert, and lvl 60 kept giving me The Aetherchemical Research Facility, and while that can be fun it's pretty time consuming.

Trial and expert a day will cap it in a week.

Yeah, but when you can only spare an hour most days, using the bulk of that time to run an expert seems, I dunno, a bit anti-climactic. I much preferred capping earlier in the week, so I felt free to do other things. Run primals, level other classes, etc.

Don't get me wrong, the vanilla dungeons can be fun, but I was craving a bit more diversity by the time I left.

Expert dungeons are still the way to go. Palace of the Dead can be profitable too.

Still a good number of GAFfers logging in at peak times. There were between 20 and 30 over the weekend, and this is the dry spell for the game. If you want to run something, just ask in the FC chat and you'll find people to help.

Big thanks to the GAF crowd that helped me complete all the Bahamut raids over the weekend! 1-2 years late, but some of those battles were still incredible. I'm so glad they were all unsynced.

Wait...thats a thing? Because I still have some turns that I never had the chance to finish.

If square is so kind as to patch it in.

They optimised the game on PS4 when Heavensward came out. Wouldn't be surprised if they patched a Pro Mode with the next expansion pack. It would definitely be an upgrade incentive for me.

Yep! Even if you drop a Party Finder, you'll fill fast enough. There's extra lines of dialogue in the next MSQ if you completed the Coils, so there are a lot of people trying to get up-to-date before the end of the month.

Are there any archer gloves in this game? Like the kind where only a few fingers are covered and the rest are uncovered?
Only style I've seen similar to what you want is the "Ringbands" style. Doesn't cover the middle fingers though, just the thumbs.

there are so many cool pvp armors

Why isn't everyone just playing pvp always all the time

Also personal gripe

I hate yet t beat the following

Sephirot
Thordan or whatever his name is
Nidhog

All these on Extreme, I can never find a successful group with the first two, and never tried to third.

I edit: i now know why people dont play pvp
Competitive stuff brings out jerks

Whats the best late night server? Any oceanic servers?

I tend to play very late at night (11-4am PST), is it a possibility for me to progress endgame with this schedule?

perfect! I always raided with aussies back in wow. I work service industry so late night is the only way I play.

tonberry has a huge english population, and yes it's the unofficial oceanic/south east asia server
keep in mind that if you're just starting the game, you have a looooooooooooot of things to catch up to

Is the Striking headpiece meant to be that edgy eyepatch? Because yeah that's dumb.

These will look awful on Highlanders, time to fantasia again.

How do you remove the username off all the people you see? I wanna take a pick of my guy so I can display his steez

^- he's whoever posted a screenshot on FFXIV.com that I could steal.

They're an ARR-era crafting turn-in; if you don't have a leveled crafter you're doomed; if you do you need the master 1 book to craft the turnin for the finger stalls.

I have level 9 Blacksmith I think so I'm screwed there. I might switch to Adders and get it there or wait for 4.0. It's not super important but it just sucks that the good gloves are locked behind stuff.

I'm glad this concept art finally (kind of) made it into the game 3-4 years after it was revealed, although it's not going to be nearly as awesome as I imagined it would be, being a linear dungeon and all.

One day they'll make an aiming set that doesn't look goofy as hell on male characters.

That day will probably be when I switch to a Samurai. Oh well.

They need to do what FFXI does and let you mix and match any gear so long as you have a job that can equip it.

I'd love to use some of the Job specific crafting gear on regular jobs.
