Can't remember the last time I played a game with sound on, but I can understand the predicament.
You don't play games with the sound on? But what about all those great sound effects and music?

I just finished the tutorial of Legend of Callasia, and I'm really liking it. Really reminds me of Risk. The battles can be a little confusing but that's only because I'm not so sure how damage works. But everything else has been very understandable. It's all about conquering land, building fortresses or other structures, expanding your army, hiring heroes, adding archers, griffons and soldiers, earning cards that gives you bonuses, earning gold and such, and fighting the enemy.

I can see myself unlocking the full game but I'll go through what is available of the Campaign first. It also has some form of multiplayer.

Not a new release, but I figured you guys would know if anyone would: can someone weigh in on the Dragon Quest I port? I have a few extra bucks and an itch for a grindy RPG, but I know nothing about this port's quality.

I haven't tried it recently but when it was released it was a bit janky and moving around wasn't smooth.

I know for certain DQ3 is a good port and still runs on iOS 10 on my 6S+.

On iOS 10 anyone else have trouble with the bottom of webpages sometimes getting covered by the Safari toolbar? It's most egregious on NeoGAF mobile making tapping those First/Last Page buttons a tad difficult sometimes.

I haven't updated yet because Puzzle & Dragons is like "hey, if you want to continue to play, don't update to 10 yet."

Wouldnt recommend anyone to update at all actually lol. It is the worst major iOS updat to date in my opinion. Cannot understand how Apple describes it as it's biggest yet...

Strange, haven't had that issue at all so far and I've been using iOS 10 since it's first beta release.

If you have a 3D Touch enabled device I think iOS 10 is far superior to iOS 9, however if you don't then you loose out on a lot.

I agree 100%. I love 10 on my 6+!

I've even started to like the overhaul of Music, though I'm sure having an Apple Music subscription helps.

Star Crusade is pretty awesome so far.
Seems like a scifi Heartstone, very slick, tons of effects and animations.

I love my jailbreak and my tweaks. I doubt I'll update until iOS 10 gets jailbroken. But who knows...sometimes I do the major updates and go without for a bit. No plans to update as of now though

To me, I'm afraid some games will break and won't get updated. Besides, it has no compelling features other than letting me use two different language dictionaries for one keyboard.

Anyway, it's BATMAN time next week! And Sorcery of course.

Yes, constantly. It's like Safari won't scroll low enough.

They just went 1 dollar in Europe, I guess it's still propagating worldwide.

EDIT: all the bundles have been removed too, I guess a new bundle in coming with Sorcery! 4.

Thanks for the heads up. The Sorcery! games are all $1.49AUD in the Australian app store. Just grabbed them all.

Learned about a very interesting game for you text adventure/interactive fiction fans

Open Sorcery, $2.99
You control a firewall, a fire elemental bode to code, and must track down and destroy demons threatening the human you protect. A playthrough is short, about an hour, but there's said to be a nice amount of replayability and variety in different tactics across multiple playthroughs
Open Sorcery is text-based. It follows the development of an elemental firewall. A creature of intertwined magic and code.
There are 90,000 words of text, five animated sequences, eighteen achievements to pursue, and eight possible endings.
In this game you can:
search for malicious spirits, protect your network, make friends, burn everything, learn, dream, become sapient

Picked up all the Sorcery games. Also I'm excited for the Teeny Titans update. Instead of being productive last Saturday I played Teeny Titans the whole day and completed the game over the past week. It's completely amazing and I collected every figure and did every sidequest.

Dammit. I thought Sorcery had iCloud. I finished the first one a while ago. Then got 2 and 3 through Android Humble bundles, but wanted to carry over my part 1 progress.

So with all the games on sale on iOS, I figured I'd snap up 2 and 3 and it would pick up my save from the first one. However, I just redownloaded the first one and it didn't appear to have my save.

Isn't it just a password? I was wondering if there was a list somewhere that I may be able to look at and try to remember what mine was so I don't have to play through 1 again.

Dang, my Samorost 3 save is gone and I can't even start a new game, the game simply won't save at all now, even after I einstall the app. I have the worst luck when it comes to such things on iOS.

As far as i can tell the save is on inkle's servers and the text it gives you is basically an ID/key to load the save from their server.

If anyone is playing Star Crusade (you should, it's a hardcore scifi Heartstone with killer graphics and sounds) let me know and let's add each other as friends, so we can play together!

Could be but if I no longer have that text, I'm up a creek. Going to buy 2 as it says something about that they changed it to a tap of a button. So maybe it will find something on their server.

Maybe you could email them, ask if they have a way to retrieve your password

I can't remember but is there a Game Save Manager equivalent for iOS? I think there were once but I'm not sure if there's still software taking backups of ones saves?

I dont even remember buying Sorcery 3 before because I searched to buy 1 and 2 and found 3 with the cloud symbol. So yea good stuff. Have all 3 downloading. Will play. Just bought the monk deck in solitarica. almost got to the end. still enjoying this a lot.

To those of you who are in the Street Kart beta, can you send me your facebook, so I can add you as friends?

Others are welcome too. I made myself a gaming profile.

Thought Emoji Movie was good. Take that as you will.
Solitairica is like digital crack.

Such a fun game.. though I wish there was a little more variation in opponents.. but still great great game well made.

Thanks for the heads up on the Sorcery sale. Getting them all now.

Im super happy seeing certain nintendo posters flip flop from "lol apple" to now :p

Yeah, the flip flopping of Nintendrones has been going on for a while now. So funny how the idea of Nintendo games on mobile was so opposed to and as soon as Pokemon Go was a worldwide hit, the idea was just brilliant.

I have been saying for a while that Nintendo will win if they release some mobile games.

Lumines Neo have been delisted from international App Stores. Apparently it was never meant to release outside of Japan. Thankfully I downloaded it already and will buy the Ultimate Pack album if they don't release it for Puzzle & Music.

What do we think the full unlock for Mario Run will be? personally, I think it'll be $4.99 -$9.99. Gruber says $20-30, which I think is too high. Either way it's gonna get pirated a ton on Android.

I'd say $6.99 to $9.99

Yeah, $20-$30 is insane. He clearly doesn't understand mobile pricing and the perception of those kinds of games

For people who recommended me Galatic Keep, thanks a bunch, I only played for a bit but I love the entire premise already.

I also got the first lifeline and the latest in a bundle and finished the latest one, the one called crisis line, and I absolutely loved it.

It's a shame that
Alex seems to die in the "true" path no matter what.

Edit: Oh the sorcery games are on sale? I can only afford two of them with the credit in my wallet? Should I go 1 and 2 or 2 and 3?

I've only played the first so far, but I'd say probably 1 and 2 since you'd be getting the whole story and also be able to carry your choices over to the next game (and 3 and 4 when you get them).

---

On another note, picked up Atomic Super Lander and really enjoying it so far. It's got the elements of Lunar Lander type games as far as maneuvering your ship to land safely on asteroids that are on their way to destroy Earth. Then you must get to the area on the asteroid to start the sequence for the nuke to go off via a Simon style mini game. And finally both get back to your ship and out of range of the last before it goes off.

It's a rogue like in that if you die you lose your progress (although I believe you keep ships you have upgraded). And can be tricky. For instance, if you land too far away from the nuke, you probably won't make it.

It's full of humor and a high score game at its core. I'd recommend it if it sounds up your alley.
