This is all I need in life.

Let's talk price. Judging by all the hardware that's included and quality of the screen, I can't see this going for less than $350/$400. Maybe even more.

Looks great!

I'd really interested in the price. I probably won't get one myself, but I know people in my family who would really like this.

I saw Skyrim footage on the vid as well. Very interesting!

You know what? I think the device looks charming. I liked the attitude and the sound effect their marketing used to show off how the device works. Very Nintendoy in presentation.

I will buy this console. Show me the way to the Amazon pre-order page gaf. My money weeps in sheer sorrow.

I guess it's too soon to be certain, but it seems like second screen, 3d, and motion controls are basically gone from nintendo products moving forward. Basically, there's no "unique experience" that you can have on nintendo hardware this gen, which is quite a change from the last 10+ years.

There is though. You have one console for tv play and portable play. That's your unique experience.

Overall it looks good - hope to see more details soon

Dock casing looks kinda cheap, almost like a PS2 knockoff... logo is a bit large also.

Looking forward to learning more.

I've wanted detachable components like that for a while, didn't think they'd actually do it. Looks easy, simple, and clean, as you only have to keep track of a few components and you can make whatever.

I'm sold right now.

I've been waiting for Nintendo to consolidate mobile and console for a while so I'm sold on that front. The controls on the other hand... We'll see.

Classy as fuck. Great branding.

Great console design. Looks flawless. Comfortable, classy, great big screen, great home console, thing will barely take up any room.

I'll be buying this. I feel like I'm missing out on some fun Nintendo games but none of their hardware has been all that appealing to me in recent years. This absolutely is. Grown up hardware design, beautiful concept. Don't care about graphics, this is like a whole other thing to my PS4 in my head.

They did it.

No real surprises yet, looks good to me, but too many questions still remain. I hope they show us more soon.

They implemented the concept they wanted without making it look awkward or stupid and then managed to communicate it effectively in a short window, so I really believe this is a good idea and a good execution.

It's very different without feeling it, so I think people already interested will feel very comfortable jumping in, and seeing a regular damn controller should at least moderate some detractors.

Hopefully I'll be a able to buy it without the screen and all the snap-on controller stuff, just the console with that classic style controller as the default would be brilliant.

I totally called that they'd focus on split screen/social multilayer.

I also did mention that stuff like Skyrim Remastered could come to it even if new AAA games didn't.

I'm legit surprised. The device looks really attractive and I think the name is much better than we are used from Nintendo.

Now we will have to wait for the software.

Exactly what I wanted from Nintendo and a lot more! Hopefully all their developers on one platform, and a console-like experience that I can take with me on trips easily. Will be my first Nintendo console since the SNES if the battery life is decent.

Too big to fit in a pocket.

Battery life is a big question mark.

Price is up in the air.

Too soon to call IMHO. Will wait for more details. Great trailer though!

EDIT: Also worth mentioning: it looks as if they're ditching the 2-screen mechanic; at no point was anyone using more than 1 screen. If this is true, there's no chance of backwards compatibility with Wii U.
