This is most likely going to be an update on the Spectre + King Knight campaigns - almost certainly the former at least as they tell you to "reap what we show"

I would be absolutely onboard for this. Put that same love and devotion into a 16-bit style platformer that evolves on Shovel Knight in all the right ways.

OP is jumping to conclusions. The hint is in the tweet, and we already know the plans and what they have been working on. The tweet refers to "reap what we sow" ie spectre knight update.

We also know king knight update has been in the works for ages.

Yeah...I realize they have to bring these out because of Kickstarter stretch goals but I'm not really that interested in playing a 90% similar game again with a different character. Hopefully if they do another Kickstarter they don't do stretch goals like this, or instead just get funded by a publisher and not have to worry about a KS campaign at all.

Definitely hyped for this, especially as it presumably means King Knight isn't all that far behind, they way they said they were doing both campaigns at once.

Here's hoping the campaign has just as good of a hook as Plague Knight.

edit: Hmm...didn't realize it had been quite this long since they showed off the initial Spectre Knight details. Really hope this means that they can get King Knight and Gender swap mode done quickly, and move onto something new.
