The tapestry had korok looking dudes planting trees, which I assume refers to their mission in TWW.

I think that's a bit of a stretch. Some of the poses that pirate Zelda made during cutscene could lead someone to jump to that conclusion too. Link looked depressed or defeated in that scene and the fist was probably just to display anger for the scene. No necessarily an indication she's playable.

If they show off a game with such confidence, I'm going to judge the game on what's shown, not based off of speculation on what might be in the rest of the game and how good that speculative material might be. The purpose of promotional material is to be judged one way or the other.

They had 3 days of footage - as much as any game preview I've ever seen - and yet they failed to show anything that excited me. That's on them, and I'm entitled to judge all that they've shown as I want. It's implied from what they've shown that most of the game plays out as it does on the plateau, imo.

The tunic Link wears is the Champion Tunic given to really good warriors I believe... we might be able to play as or cooperate with a warrior princess, presumably Zelda, she might change from warrior clothes to royal clothes later in the story, since Link has the depowered Master Sword when he's bowing.
