I liked him in Lone Ranger and UNCLE, but I have to ask, did he purposely name himself after a popular brand of baking soda?

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
He was once going to be Batman in the George Miller Justice League.

Didn't The Lone Ranger give his career a serious hit?

He was also in the Man from Uncle movie with Superman

He's blank faced and as interchangeable from any other white super hero lead.

He's perfect!

john Stewart is the only green lantern worth a movie

Hammer has been all good so far imo.

Liked him in Social Network and he was pretty good at towing the line between doofus and badass in Lone Ranger

Also best thing about man from uncle.

Armie Hammer, they have learned nothing.

But twitter follows? We that thirsty?

I believe this is also how people found out Rick Famuyiwa was involved in a DC project when other notable DC movie people followed him. Not long after he was announced as the Flash director. And I think Joe Mangiwhateverhisnameis was also the same.

Funny way of saying Kyle Rayner, would be the first Latino superhero headliner

He's actually a good actor though.

He just has a habit of choosing unfortunate projects.

Dude is easily as talented, if not more, than what people thought of Chris Evans before MCU. And I'm a big fan of Evans outside of the MCU

Also these twitter follows have actually been pretty spot on..

Dude doesn't pick projects that show it

Also Brie Larson as Captain Marvel I think.

I like this dude a lot, great choice.

Despite being tall, handsome, and incredibly wealthy, I still feel for this dude. He's had Kitsch-levels of luck in his career.

Free Fire and Nocturnal Animals tho. Been getting some interesting supporting roles

I think Lone Ranger is hella underrated but it's clear he's more successful going smaller scale

Kind of a mistake going with a big superhero movie imo but it will likely be his biggest success. Despite what people think of the brand I think DC is guaranteed success going forward because of people eating up comic cinematic universes.

Chris Evans was doing good projects and a lot of smaller but cool action films and sci fi stuff before he got tapped for Captain America.

I think Hammer's problem is that he seems to only really be doing big stuff instead of filling gaps with smaller projects. Chris Evans does more work in small movies even now that he's busy being Captain America than Hammer does now when he's just going from role to role.

Chris Evans is just hardworking and actorly as fuck. He seems to genuinely enjoy acting rather than trying to be a "star" per se and hence he picks great projects.

Eh. Probably. If not the Green Lantern then something else within the DCU. This is the way studio PR works in 2016.

Saying it without saying it to get people talking before the actual announcement. It's the teaser for the film trailer all over again.

You don't know Chris Evans so don't start assuming that you anything about the man. The truth is anything you think you know about him is a well crafted PR play. I know you think this isn't the case but it is. Trust me.

As I said in the DC thread, the fact that Ayer is included in this probably means it's a character that would be seen in Suicide Squad 2, but he'll appear somewhere else first like Deathstroke. Otherwise, I see no reason why Ayer would be privy to Hammer being cast as a Green Lantern since it doesn't involve him.

He doesn't follow him. He doesn't show up in the followers you know.

Well that's fine. He can play me and that's fine. I only really care about movies so if he just has good representation, he can play me as long as the movies are good. But Hammer should probably start crafting some plays too so he doesn't get left behind.

Play me with Snowpiercer and Sunshine all day every day tbh

There's something pathetic and laughable about someone who tells others that they know shit about someone else but then went on to say "trust me", as if he's certifiable even without giving any proof.

What is this crap. Evans was in a lot of dogshit prior to his marvel stint

And uhhhh Free Fire and Nocturnal Animals are both from this year alone.

Not to mention you're conveniently forgetting social network happened.
