So, I finally had a chance to look over everything. From what I can tell in the SKU comparisons, I'm going to call the PS4 as the winner in our stores. I checked across districts, and it just looks like we just moved more overall hardware on the Sony side over the month.
Pro did pretty well for itself, between preorders and overall momentum (Honestly, Black Friday and the Holiday conscious has nothing to do with this, though there were some buying them as Christmas presents for their significant others in my own store). And the Pro certainly helped make the difference in the monthly aspect.
Whether that puts them down from last year I'm working on calculating, it's certainly doesn't feel like a blowout one way or the other.

FFXV did pretty well for its first week! (Though I'm still catching up on the weekend details of that after being away for PSX. My manager is still exasperated that he allows for me to have the time away). Preorders were mostly picked up across the board, not to mention ship outs of online orders, and then we got stocked pretty decently, and it seems like people are happy to see a new FF on shelves. Whether they sit for awhile or not it will remain to be seen.
Differences in SKU performance is pretty staggering though, if I hadn't been expecting it. I've been monitoring these numbers in advance as you all know, and there's been not a lot of extra traffic for XB1 copy pickup beyond preorders. Here's hoping that changes, because the game is great and I tell people about it all the time.
