Best boxart of 2016?

Brandon F

Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
Not sure if there is ever a discussion for this(yay marketing assets?) but as a digital-only consumer I started realizing how rarely I ever see a game box anymore and particularly the chosen art.

Really curious as to what GAF considers as some of the boxart highlights in 2016 in any territory.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?

Furi didn't have a boxed edition but the cover art is great. It gets so much more meaningful after you beat the game.

The weapons in the background belong to every boss and the big circle in the sky is the main character's origin

Why they insist on placing some random review score on an otherwise and in this case stellar cover is beyond me

A definitive edition is not about appealing to the core users, but the moms and pops and casual gamers who see a cover and think "Hey, I've heard about that series before. A 10/10 is no joke," then buy it.

Nice and simple, plus the little things (the clouds and cliffside have the same curvature, the familiar circle-line pattern around the border). It does a lot with a little - much like the game itself.

Yeah but not with Metal Gear bro. The ma and pas are going for the yearly event games the assassins creeds and cods. Seems weird coming from Konami.

My favorite aspect is when I realized there's a stairway leading to a door in that shot. Even more mystery, I love it

Wow, I'd never seen that before.

That's great.

If that's the door I'm thinking of, I don't think I was ever able to get in there.
