That Last Shot looks like soup.

Any Chromatic Aberration is overdone Chromatic Aberration.

this one is probably could be on Game Informer, they always seem to have poor quality screenshots, worse than most other sides

A lot of the screens look awful, but are of moments that will likely be considerably better in motion. Nothing in the article suggests they were taken by GameInformer during a stream or anything like that, which is what I initially suspected. Seems a bit weird to pick these specific ones to put out. I don't know who's running the PR for this game, but between the face bug stuff and this, they could be doing better.

Yes. That's why they went with the new title, to try to avoid scaring people off who haven't played the first three.

I like mass effect but I just can't seem to muster any excitement for this game. Every screen and trailer just gets a meh from me.

I expect them to expand on long term series arcs, especially the politics the ships are bringing with them to the new galaxy. It will probably have none of the nuance though.
But bro you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing the old games, they're awesome.
