Im glad resources are being put into important stuff like this RE: XV.
I kinda love it though. Imagine all her teenage fans hearing the name Final Fantasy for the first time and trying the game because of it.
This isnt an internally developed game iirc.
Plus, it probably takes like 3 people a few weeks to make the mobile game event.

Hope you like spending money or waiting. Also the game is only coming out a few story quests at a time, and most of the time is grinding.

Time meters. It's a bit weird though since from what I played it has a town you can freely travel around but to what end I've no idea. Though in honesty I didn't play it for too long since there's so many menu's I got completely and utterly confused. Like most F2P mobile games though you have a limit on how much you can play.
Probably. I bet they paid more to get Ariana Grande to come in to meet with them/review the event that they did actually making the event (not to mention licensing).
The game has metered energy, which you get like 280 points in refresh every day. But you only get to store so much at low levels. As long as you take it easy and dont try to burn through everything then you can play f2p rather comfortably, the only real big fault being the TM grinds which really is horrible.
A strong friend unit will carry you through all of the games story. The only things that require more than that are elite events and the optional boss fights. If you want to start playing it then do the risemara (reset marathon) to get yourself a strong starting unit, just like in every other japanese gacha game.

Not much at first but your Stamina goes up and refills every time you level which you will do often at the beginning.
A gacha character makes the most sense economically for Gumi but the PR would be horrible. I'm hoping its an event reward and that the unit itself is strong enough to actually be useful. Competing with overpowered units and not having a particular niche would make for a pretty bad publicity character.
Watching the video, it sounds like an event reward like maxwell, giving this char for free in an event and putting the orlandu banner on, should make them a lot of $$$

They won't skip the Type-0 one, but don't expect the Secret of Mana/Dragon Quest ones.
They've already skipped the type 0 banners and they'd seriously disappoint people if they decide to bring them up right now, when the next banner adds one of the strongest units in the game.

They haven't skipped them they just haven't done them yet. We already have datamined Global Exclusive abilites that are tied to Ace and one of the other characters from the main game. They are clearly coming it might be different however.
