NBA 2016-2017 Season |OT| What do the Liberty Bell and Ben Simmons have in Common?

My Lakers need to trade lou will and nick young for a big man. They both also stagger the growth of d'lo and clarkson.

Lou and Nick have been good for the overall development of the team. Besides I doubt you are getting much for either. Maybe, maybe a super protected late round 1st for Lou, but that's about it.

Yeah, there's no Center out there worth trading for Lou and Nick. It's not like it's Boogie or something.

We could probably get like Tyson Chandler or something, as a pure salary dump by the Suns, but the Lakers don't another highly paid guy who is past his prime and who will be complete toast by the time this core is ready to compete. We already have Deng.

That might be a decent trade, especially if they go to the Suns or something. Tell them that Scottsdale and Paradise Valley are ideal neighborhoods.

Suns are rebuilding too though so I'm not sure what they would want with Lou and Nick. Lakers don't need to make any huge trades. This is a rebuild. Most teams not named the Nets are getting smarter about valuing young players and draft picks so the days of getting a desperate fringe playoff team to give you what turns out to be a lottery pick for a guy like Lou Williams are long gone.

Rodney Hood's knee buckled something nasty. Man the Jazz are just snake bit this year.

fuuuuck just heard about this. Reading on twitter seems he missed the big one. Been a fan of hood for a little bit now. As for the jazz I feel like they're snake bit in general the past few years with Favors hip and other problems, plus Exum with the ACL.

Nets aren't stupid either. They were damn stupid before, and it's screwed them over, but the new policy seems to have the nets in good standing in the looong term

I mean, even with the Celtics pick this year and no pick next year, I have more trust on the nets not making stupid decisions than the Knicks

Let's give it a season or two and see what Prokhorov does with the team when they have actual trade assets again before we start calling them smart.

I love how everybody talks about Harden and Westbrook's triple doubles... I'd find them more impressive if they didn't turn the ball over at insane rates.

Any predictions for tomorrow? Curry has been a glutton for Ls since last year's playoffs, but man, he couldn't put up yet another shitty game, could he? Westbrook versus Paul should be fun as well.

Why break the streak now.

Cavs stomp. Shump's been feasting in Lue's starting lineup.

Bill Simmons with a straight face proposing a Melo to Clips/Blake and Pierce to Lakers/Nance, Ingram and Clarkson to NY trade. Dude's lost his damn mind.

15+ W for the Warriors. I find it hilarious that both teams are trying to downplay it as a non important game though. :D

Curry's been playing a lot better the last two weeks. His 3P% shooting is still not at the level it needs to be, but he's been shooting stupid shots that he tooks last season so it's a matter of time before that part of his game clicks. No idea if that means any certainties for the Cavs though, dude's had 4 rough ones. He will be shooting a lot more this time around though, with 12 year old haircut. :\

I'm pretty sure Bron is gonna be sporting that Cavs jersey today, so I'm counting on this streak to continue.

Embiid is such a game changer. Every time he sits, the Bucks go on a run. As soon as he comes back in, the Sixers go on a run.

With the way embiid has changed this team and how horrible the east is, the 6ers should consider a push for thar 8th seed.

Edit-
Am I a hater if I think the league is kinda boring as fuck right now?

No. The NBA is typically top heavy with the tier 2 teams just short of good enough to make a legitimate push. The tier 2 teams this year dont really exist, maybe the raptors and some might say the clippers (tweener to most, some think they could challenge). Everybody else is tier 3. Memphis is hanging around but they're not as good as the past, okc is hanging around but they're clearly not a real threat, the Celtics are still a few players short, the pacers are mediocre, etc. It's the cavs warriors spurs and nobody else

There is a lot of young talent on the rise, but the power gap is bigger than I can remember in quite some time.
