Pokémon Sun & Moon |OT2| Calling for help! · · · – – – · · ·

Use the rare kitchen at 79 and 89.

I would need 5*Rare Kitchens for that. :(

I have one 3*Kitchen that has a 7-level ticket, though.

EDIT: Pelago training is so slow, even for passive leveling. It's like 1 level a day and you can't use those Pokemon in the meantime. Which, when you DO want to run through the E4 a few times to get some new Pokemon to 50, is not advantageous.

I should mention araquanid is insulted that you imply that z moves are only for status effects.

I mean, the game's been out for months, so 1 level a day isn't bad if you remember to cycle them out.

If it's not a Gen VII Pokemon and you have Pokebank and XY or ORAS you could also transfer it to one of those games right?. Leveling should be much easier there

So, question, I can only get Dusk Balls and Quick Balls via the Plaza thing, right? Could someone tell me the stall I'm looking for to be able to buy anything but Pokeballs from? Thanks! :)

Not to mention the occasional Rare Candy that respawns on the island off the coast of Hau'Oli City .

What? You mean all my Pokemon that I transferred to Sun I can't transfer back to AS?

Correct

They did say this when they announced Bank support back in September though
pokebank_en_770x562.png

If you transfer a Pokémon to Pokémon Bank and then on to Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon from Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y, you'll be unable to transfer it back to Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y.

I've got several shinies before 70, even if that's not a proof, I'm pretty sure there's stages inbetween.
All the stuff in my post is taken directly from the disassembled code that handles chaining, so it's definitely a thing.

You got lucky, it happens :)

(well really it's more like, although each shot is 1/4096 the chance of getting at least 1 shiny in an increasingly higher number of encounters goes up at a quicker pace than you'd expect)

No, I have gotten disproportionately many shinies from mid link SOS chains.

Just go around your Festival Plaza for a bit (after connecting online then re-entering it) and talk to your guests. 5* Rare Kitchens are the most common 5* facilities guests offer you, from my experience.

Get two of them, too. That way, you can level a Pokemon to 100 from 66 immediately if you spare a couple of Rare Candies for the last two levels.

I know (although I'm not alone in this), and I probably was... But are you sure it's correct? Posts I read about dissassembled stuff were saying "3 extra rolls at 70+, probably something before, but don't have the details" when all the other things were matching your post. When I looked for this, I haven't seen a definitive answer for shinies chances.

Well, not really... If it's 1:4096, it's nearly linear, so it's 1% on a 41 chain. I currently have 7 shinies in S/M, IIRC, 6 being from SOS, and I've barely done chains over 50. That's a bit much.

Being able to use ORAS move tutors is pretty hamdy for egg move chains.
It's not that hard to recatch the needed ones in ORAS, though (except the mirage ones)

Can you use rental teams in the VGC ladder as well?

Can someone share his team? I really have no time to breed this gen :(

Here you go bud, and here are the set details.

Word of advice, team is frail to earthquakes, gyarados however is exceptional at handling garchomp. A-Marowak is an increadibly underrated wallbreaker that utterly destroys all ultra beasts not called nihilego and guzzlord(lol). He also has amazing synergy with both gyarados and koko. Muk and A-Marowak lead are amazing to deal with trick roomers unless they use fake out, but even then they can't handle this lead very well. Koko Marowak and Koko Chomp are my most common lead, but gyarados is in there too.

Just when I thought I was understanding the game's underlying systems. Then this happens. How is this explained?
I know Parasect isn't naturally fast. And there's no specific Nature boosting it either. Sure, the EVs are somewhat high for speed, but I've had others with more on a stat and the best I had seen was +5.

Where you just chain battling a long set of SOS encounters that give high speed EVs ? Thats the only thing I can think of.

I'd love one of those HA Eevees if that's still possible! I've always wanted a solid Wish using Umbreon

Sure. I also have a Calm one in a Moonball for Umbreon. It doesn't have its HA but Synchronize is usually superior for Umbreon. PM me if you want that or any of the others.

If you still have these Snivies, it would really make my day to trade for one! FC is in my profile. I can offer breedject Litwicks, Mareep, Shelders or Joltiks. I also have Larvestas, Pawniards and Shroomish (poison heal) in my bank, but you would probably prefer those traded to ORAS for move tutoring.

I'm pawning off my breedject Porygon in premier balls and they go really quickly on the GTS, even when asking for something rare like Cosmog.

...but is 5 cosmog enough cosmog?

no!!

Now that I got the IV judge in the PC boxes, I think I might have been fooled with hacked Pokemon. Particularly a Carvanha that is maxed out on everything except Attack by just a little bit. And the Beast Ball Beldum is maxed on 5 stats except Speed which is on "Pretty good". Are these actually hacked?

5 IVs is pretty common on competitive bred Pokemon (destiny knot) and balls can be passed down by breeding for many Pokemon but I dunno if that applies to genderless Pokemon, a 5 IV wild caught pokemon a Beast Ball that isn't an ultrabeast would be odd.

What level is the beldum?

Five or even all six IVs being perfect is far from impossible via breeding. I've even bred "perfect" pokemon by accident while I was only going for a specific 5 IVs. I'm not sure about how pokeballs are passed down though, but I don't really think a hacker would intentionally leave the speed IV imperfect.

I'd wonder trade away a carvanha that had its 5IVs outside of Attack too, if I wanted a Sharpedo on my team

e: I'll go ahead and bet his natures Adamant and his ability is speed boost too

They might, Speed is often used to 'choose' the Hidden Power and Metagross is as slow as a wet week anyway.
