So many people excited for the new Crash remasters.

Seriously how can you remind all them people that the Crash games were overrated trash back in the day? Boring ass platformers. Nothing special about those games at all.

I'm with you, they aren't good games. I can bet that a lot of people who haven't played them in a decade will play this remaster and realize how poorly they hold up.

Terrible controls.
Boring levels.
Boring characters.
Clunky platforming.

Now all remastered for an even more terrible nostalgia trip.

These games were great platformers back then, and is still holding up today. Yes, I did play the original PSone games recently and they hold up (2 and 3 much better than 1), so stop with the salt already.

I wont pick it up now for Deus Ex and RotTR, but it sucks...

Those two's season passes aren't worth picking up.

I'm sort of surprised so many pubs keep it up. More often than not, I just wait for the GOTY version or just never pick up the season pass because they're so stingy with the discounts. But it must work for them since they keep it up.

I was going to wait for Total Warhammer's complete pack, but Humble Monthly was too good a deal.

Echoes of Aetheria continues to baffle me with its quality. Actually playing it over FF6 now /shrug

I have a conundrum tho, the game is very easy on normal, so I decided to try it a bit on hard (you can choose which difficulty to tackle each zone / chapter). The problem is, I tried hard on a zone I had already cleared, and then you have the option to re-do it with a slightly different layout and new chests, and it was much harder, mainly because everything becomes bullet sponges. At first there was also a lot more enemies per battle, but I wasnt sure what was doing it, if it was the difficulty or the mere fact that when you re-do the remixed zones, its just harder by nature.

And that is in fact the case, because I got to a boss (wasnt really a boss,just a bunch of enemies, but for it counted as a boss in front of a big chest anyway) and kept dying, I re-tried the zone on normal again and it was much more doable, and still harder than my first go through. All the new chests only had gold tho, even the big one (previous big chests had special items in them, zelda style), so if thats the case im not even sure the zones are worth re doing, unless you need to grind xp I guess.

The conundrum now is, do I continue to play on normal, or try the next new zone on hard to see how it is, assuming I caught a unfortunate case of double down of difficulty before. Im not even particularly that fond of playing games on hard, but it would be nice if battles lasted more than a few seconds so I could actually use some abilities :3

i maxed 8/21 and like, i can't remembering myself messing up dialogue or wasting days to do this awful

like, i beat persona 3 twice, i think i should be decent enough at time management in these games by now

i'm really confused at what i did wrong, i feel like i misaccepted a "would you like to skip 3 months?" prompt or something

it's not really a p3 vs p4 thing, i'll get into it a bit more when i actually complete the game, but it's not about it's not that p4 does things worse than p3, it's just that p4 just does a lot of things in a way i find really lame

What you did wrong is trying to max out all the social links first time round. Just enjoy the story and characters, and do it in new game plus. It's even easier in Persona 4 Golden!

It's perfectly possible to max out all the social links and read all the books, but you'd really have to follow a guide to get the timings down right, which would spoil a lot of the enjoyment for me. Especially the first time round.

That seems really low. I feel like i managed twice as many without really going out of my way to max them, but i do love to save scum...
You might not have discovered the links early enough? It also helps to have a matching persona with you.

I did however have a lot of free time due to my self imposed rule of never spending more than two days on a dungeon.

It's a really fun puzzle game worth playing.
The humor is more miss tham hit I'm my opinion.

Yes. Really underrated and almost as good as Portal in places.

It unfortunately didn't for me. I really wanted to like the game but i ended up dropping it due to the frustrating platforming and physics puzzles you have to do.
The game expects you to do platforming on moving physics objects and unlike in Talos the jumps are not "on-rails" so it gets pretty frustrating when you know the solution to the puzzle but you can't execute it because a box doesn't feel like being in the right position at the right time.
