Nintendo Switch will launch worldwide on March 3, 2017, and we look forward to everyone being able to discover the wonders of the new system for themselves at that time.

Yeah, we definitely wouldn't want spoilers on what to expect.

Is this related to Hiphoprobot?

I'm asking out of curiosity. I wouldn't want a fellow Gaffer to lose his/her lively hood and face charges.

The animation in the second season of Konosuba is so much worse than the first.

It's actually intentional. Fan feedback showed positive reception to the low quality animation as they felt it complemented the ironic nature of the show and was funny.

Nah he is not the one facing criminal charges as he didnt stole anything.
He was sold the stolen unit.

Reminds me of the rumour that the ESRB Smash Bros. leaker got fired and sued. Nintendo has no mercy.

Hiphoprobot said in another thread that he simply gave them the system back and that was the end of it, but who knows.

Hiphoprobot, post if you're okay.

I have to admit that I don't really get the "HOLY FUCK WOWOWOWOWOW" responses to the revelation that people took items from a warehouse early.

That's not exactly an uncommon event!

Walruses, camels, bears, rabbits, tigers and badgers.
Next time you put your livelhood/job at such risk for early access to the Switch, at least grab a damn copy of Breath of the Wild on your way out.

He's obviously not the thief. Nintendo's statement confirms that the console was resold (which he himself confirmed) and whoever stole it in the first place is under investigation.

Meet in an alley to buy a Switch and the next thing you know you're waking up and your kidneys have been replaced with Joycon controllers.

No, the PR specifically only mentions the distributor employees. It does briefly mention Hiphoptherobot, but it doesn't look like he is trouble, at least according to him.

The HIpHop story was falling apart after Reddit and Detective GAF uncovered he first tried to sell the switch and then unbox. Glad Nintendo was on topnof this. No sympathy from me. Thieves deserve jailtime

Back when I worked on a warehouse of a big company I was surprised when I was told pallets of items were lost weekly.

Nintendon't play.

Hindsight is 20/20 and all, but if I was HipHop I would've posted anonymously. Glad we got the details he shared, but he should have damn well known that he was playing with fire.

Damn, it's crazy how quickly they were able to crack down on the guilty parties. Anyone that doubts the power of serial number registrations have been warned.
